Royal Gourmet In Varenna

Spent 5 nights here as we explored Lake Como. Varenna is a beautiful village and the hotel location on the square is charming. Our room was quiet and comfortable with spectacular views of the lake. Breakfast buffet is a treat. Staff is very helpful and made great restaurant suggestions. We had an emergency situation when we checked out when our prearranged taxi was in an accident and hotel staff arranged for transportation within 30 minutes to get us to airport. We are so appreciative

Had the dreamiest stay in Varenna here with a perfect view and convenient access to wonderful restaurants and attractions like Villa Monastero. Staying here also gives you access to the Villa Cipressi botanical gardens next door which is quite a treat. The AC in the room was outstanding and they had great shower pressure in the room as well. The included breakfast is quite lovely. Highly recommend staying here!

Stunning views and outstanding service! We stayed in #112 and it offered some of the best room views we’ve ever experienced. Staff was amazing, attentive and friendly. Bar and restaurant great food, and breakfast was lovely. We stayed just before busy season starts and had fantastic weather so that made it all the better.

Very well attended by Max and Anisa… the place is a dream!!!!

I didn’t even stay there because I was in another city. But they helped me and my wife find a taxi when we had problems with the boat. Overall, very kind staff in an excellent location.
