The pizza is good, and the waiters change, so you'll find some who are kind and some who aren't.
It's inconvenient to go with friends because it's not easy to get to, being right in the center.

Five of us had dinner on New Year's Eve.
The menu had a wide selection, and I can say it was all good. Other tables had pizza, but I can't say what it was like. I can say the food is good.

A fairly welcoming place, with plenty of space between tables, efficient waiters, and fast service. The food is good for the price. The biggest flaw is the bathroom outside, which requires you to get dressed to use it, especially in the winter. As already noted, in Bolzano they don't give you a receipt... even if the bill is correct. Hmm...

We went for lunch on Christmas Day and had a wonderful meal! The staff who welcomed us were very kind and helpful. The dining room we were in was truly beautiful, it felt like being inside a cave.

We had dinner at Römerkeller in the old town/arcades of Merano on December 14, 2025. The service was excellent. There was a misunderstanding when my wife ordered a pizza. It was extremely spicy, but she had wanted a milder pinsa. It was promptly exchanged for a milder pinsa free of charge. The grappa, limoncello, and Lugana were all very good. All in all, a simple yet excellent restaurant with a young and extremely attentive staff, offering very good value for money with the appetizer, main course, dessert, and drinks (water, two bottles of Lugana for four people). We can only say thank you – until next time. Thank you, Daniele.

The restaurant also has a very beautiful and charming basement room.
Good food.
Fast and attentive service. The only drawback is the outdoor bathroom located upstairs, which is inconvenient to access.
