Lunch or dinner in an atmosphere surrounded by greenery creates that sense of serenity and lightheartedness needed to recharge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The dishes and desserts are beyond reproach. We can't wait to return.

I had lunch today with my wife and some friends.... what a wonderful place surrounded by woods... after a beautiful hike surrounded by nature, natural pools, and waterfalls, we enjoyed some fantastic dishes... cooked with care and passion... I also extend my heartfelt compliments to the service staff... always available for any request and very professional. Highly recommended ❤️🍾😘🥂👏👏👏👏

A lovely agriturismo in a fairytale setting offering traditional Ogliastra dishes. I visited Niala for lunch with friends. The location is enchanting, this small property nestled in the woods. The natural pools, accessible by a 10-minute walk from the restaurant, are also fantastic. The appetizers were delicious and plentiful. The Ogliastra culurgiones were truly spectacular, perfectly cooked, with an excellent filling and just the right amount of mint. The malloreddus with meat sauce had a few small flaws; the pasta was a touch overcooked for my taste. Another thing I found a bit odd was the parsley in a plate of pasta with ragù. I would have preferred thyme or rosemary instead. The main courses were excellent. The suckling pig had a very crispy rind, while the inside was truly juicy, and the mutton was tender and delicate. Overall a good experience, and the fixed price of €50 per person is more than fair in my opinion (booking on The Fork we paid €40 per person.

A disappointing experience, despite the beauty of the location We booked an excursion followed by lunch at this enchanting farmhouse. Unfortunately, the beauty of the location wasn't enough to make up for a decidedly disappointing day. The excursion turned out to be a long hike without significant stops: very few minutes of rest, no opportunity to stop and enjoy the scenery. After two hours of walking, we returned for lunch. The appetizers were already on the table: five varieties, but only one portion per person. Truly paltry quantities. It wasn't possible to ask for seconds, because they also accommodated guests without reservations, further reducing the portions for those who had reserved well in advance. The first courses arrived an hour later: gnocchi with tomato sauce and a sprinkling of meat, barely enough for two people, while there were four of us. The culurgiones, on the other hand, were excellent. The second course was served at 4:30 PM, preceded by two baked potatoes each and some vegetables, which inexplicably arrived well before the suckling pig and lamb. The service was chaotic: only two waiters for over 80 people, visibly exhausted and incapable of managing the room. The owners showed no attention, nor even the slightest concern for their guests. We had to ask for coffee and liqueurs ourselves. In short, a place with great potential, but currently failing to thrive, especially in terms of food and organization. A real shame.

The quality of the food is very high, with typical Sardinian dishes carefully prepared using genuine ingredients. The prices are fair for the quality and quantity of the dishes. A great added bonus is the atmosphere: immersed in nature, with a truly pleasant relaxation area where you can stretch out in hammocks and enjoy the silence of the forest. The staff is kind and welcoming, always ready to make guests feel at home. A place that combines good food, nature, and tranquility: I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic experience in Ogliastra.

I recently visited this wonderful place for a guided mountain hike: the trek lasted about an hour and a half. The route was accessible to all but immersed in nature, with stunning views and interesting explanations along the way. After the hike, we had lunch at the farmhouse with typical Sardinian dishes: everything was truly delicious! Genuine products and authentic flavors. A complete experience that combines nature, culture, and local cuisine.

Lunch was generally good, with tasty and beautifully presented dishes. However, the first courses seemed to be industrially prepared. Despite this, the day was overall very positive.

You arrive in a holm oak forest bordered by a small stream that even in late August manages to feed the pools where you can swim. The restaurant blends beautifully into its natural surroundings, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the holm oaks. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is truly delicious, with truly remarkable stewed mutton and roast suckling pig. We also enjoyed the appetizers and first courses. A truly lovely traditional lunch!

Abbiamo usufruito di un pacchetto con escursione e pranzo che ci hanno regalato i nostri figli... Un esperienza unica ,un percorso con la giuda Nicola che da subito si è dimostrato competente,gentile e disponibile .Immersi in una natura incontaminata con il sottofondo il rumore dell'acqua.,un esperienza indimenticabile...Per descrivere il pranzo tipico non ci parole tutto perfetto ,buonissimo,il personale attento e sorridente ...ho gradito anche il laboratorio del pane fatto dalle abili mani delle signore dell 'associazione .. Se amate i sapori autentici fate un salto al Niala
