Everything was fantastic! We spent €40 each on fish, a starter and main course, plus water and wine. Excellent! The waiters were also very kind and gave us parking tips.

Absolutely fabulous! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Castro's Underground was a wonderful discovery. The ingredients are excellent, with incredibly fresh fish and a truly overwhelming flavor. The first courses are plentiful and flavorful, served with great care. The staff is extremely kind and always available, while the restaurant is elegant and welcoming. The quality-price ratio is incredible: you spend very little compared to the high quality of the dishes served. Highly recommended, I can't wait to go back!

I've been spending a few weeks on holiday in Castro Marina for two years now, and in my opinion, this is the best place in the area. Now, when I arrive, eating here is one of my first thoughts. Fresh, high-quality food, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Just steps from the sea.

The restaurant is located practically in the square. Easy to access and highly visible. My photos don't do justice to the deliciousness of the dish I chose (seafood carbonara) or the beauty of the place. The fried fish and orecchiette are also excellent. Catch of the day is also available 🌊🐟 The service is relaxed, not rushed, nor intrusive like in some comparable restaurants that take your plate away as soon as you've finished the last bite. Thanks for everything

A bit overpriced; there are other places with similar food quality. We had a plate of seafood pasta, a fried fish dish, and two pieces of purple shrimp, two glasses of local wine, and a bottle of water: €66 total. The interior is very elegant; outside, there are a few tables overlooking the street.

Questo ristorante è situato all'imbocco della piazzetta, all'esterno sembra anonimo, ma all'interno è delizioso sia come architettura che come arredo. L'accoglienza è cordiale e soprattutto il cibo e la presentazione dei piatti sono eccellenti. A volte il periodo di attesa è più lungo del solito, ma questo accade solo in qualche giorno festivo a causa dei toppi clienti che frequentano il locale...ma sono giustificati, ne vale la pena. Rapporto qualità prezzo nella norma. Ritorneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chi legge questa recensione. Grazie ragazzi.

L'Underground è il nostro ristorante preferito a Castro Marina. Impossibile non lasciarsi tentare dai piatti gourmet che lo chef propone e che il personale, professionalmente illustra mentre li serve ai clienti. Prezzi nella norma, rapporto qualità/prezzo ottima.

I just ate here and it was an exceptional experience: delicious food, with attention to every detail. The staff is attentive and extremely kind, making you feel pampered. The atmosphere is romantic and elegant, perfect for a special evening.
03/08/2025: It's a wonder to discover such a refined place in Galatone. Often, restaurants are superficial and superficial. Let's start with the first quality: the welcome: they know how to welcome you with a warm welcome. 17/08/2025: I was here 3 years ago, and after tasting pasticciotti all over Puglia, I can assure you that theirs are the absolute best! I returned on vacation to Puglia, and the must-see I promised myself was to absolutely come back here to get the No. 1 pasticciotti!!! Really good, good, good!!! Keep it up!
14/08/2025: A historic Lecce restaurant, just steps from the city center. You can dine indoors or under the spacious outdoor gazebo. The menu offers a wide variety of sweet and savory dishes. A small note about the service: while the staff is attentive and helpful, it's unfortunate that the glass of water that accompanies your order is missing, as is the napkin dispenser at the table. These are details, of course, that make a difference. Prices aren't exactly affordable, but they're justified by the quality of the food.
