Nice restaurant in the middle of Melchiorre Gioia. Well-kept and modern location. Prices too high for me for the location. Service a little inattentive. I asked for swordfish and they brought me tuna. I point it out and they tell me they will take action immediately and fix the mistake. After 3 minutes they return to the table... with the tuna from before!
At that point I give up, also because it was a working lunch and I eat the tuna. €30 for a really paltry slice. The wine list is good but here too the mark-up is exaggerated.

The food is extremely good and well presented. Portions are quite generous too compared to other places.
The staff is very friendly and patient.
I witnessed them with a difficult customer and they were professionals.
Definitely recommended.

We had dinner here on Sunday evening, we had fried fish as a starter. The fresh fish was crispy to the PERFECT point and the thinly battered fried vegetables were really satisfying.
As a first course I had the tagliolini with sea urchins, delicious enough to clean the plate with that soft focaccia that they serve with the bread, but I would have preferred the sea urchins in the pasta more raw than cooked. Then we took a 1400g Florentine steak. I lived in Florence for two years and I have eaten Florentine ones, but soft and tasty ones like this one, I swear NEVER.
Can I just ask one thing? What type of black pepper do you use in the pepper grinder? I love pepper and I would like to buy yours, it had an aroma that the ones I buy on the market honestly don't have, and I would have liked to steal your pepper mill I swear!🤣🤣🤣🫶🏻
Prices above average and still in line with the quality of the food, but with the fork we spent 50% less on food (excluding cover charge and drinks)
Plus point for the choice of 80s/90s Italian music which took me back in time, a truly very refined and romantic environment! We will be back.

Andato a cena con mia moglie. Dopo aver prenotato ci accoglie una ragazza di bella presenza, penso straniera, molto gentile, stile milano bene. Dopo aver fatto l ordine con un ragazzo, la ragazza porta i bicchieri e ci viene chiesto nuovamente se volevamo del vino (pare che ormai sia obbligatorio bere!). Non abbiamo mangiato molto ma gli ingredienti erano insapori come pollo e gamberetti, fagiolini dell insalata molto coriacei, quasi crudi, e contorno di patate al forno di basso livello, molto pastose.
I prezzi invece belli corposi... da noi un posto del genere chiuderebbe dopo un mese!
Ce la siamo cavata con 51 euro (2 in più della somma dei vari costi e coperti, probabilmente per errore di calcolo) e un saluto della tizia quasi scazzato.
