We had dinner here on our last day of sightseeing in Rome. We wanted to eat seafood, so we ordered the vongole bianco and the sake-steamed mussels, and everything was delicious. The waiter also seemed to speak a little Japanese, and we were impressed by how friendly and attentive he was to communicate with us. In Rome, we've often had waiters who were either harsh on Japanese people or, on the contrary, overly friendly, almost to the point of looking down on them, so we felt that this restaurant had just the right amount of distance and security, which was very helpful.
Two meals in two evenings.
Everything was delicious: lasagna, ragù, escalopes, steak, etc. Classic Italian dishes, no need to look any further.
The staff were wonderful with our children, very attentive.

Both Enzzo and Stefano are amazing! So sweet and give an amazing service! We visited not just once but 3 times their restaurant while being in Rome because everything is delicious!!
Their service is impressive as my nephew was with us (1 YO) and they took care of everything!! They gave him a balloon and lots of love! They are lovely!
About the food, anything you choose, it’ll be delightful!!
Definitely 5 stars!!

Three years ago we ate at Tema and it was incredible. We came back to tonight and it surpassed our expectations. The service and food are second to none. You feel like your family when you walk into Tema. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food you receive. Today they provided two rounds of bread complementary along with cookies and cordials at the end of the meal. They are super patient with guests and provide great recommendations. This is our favorite restaurant we have visited in Rome. It was incredible everything we ate was outstanding!

Just for fun we asked Germini to recommend a restaurant in Monti for our last dinner in Rome and Tema came up. We gave it a go and was not disappointed. The menu had a lot of seafood dishes. We tried the octopus salad, grilled seafood, fried calamari and prawn, gnocchi and veal melanese. All the seafoods were very fresh and tender, the gnocchi was slightly chewy like it should be, the melanese was crispy but a little tough. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal.
