First of all, this place was by far the best among all the dinner spots we tried in Rome. The octopus salad with celery stalks would have been even better if the skin hadn’t been peeled off — but either way, it was an absolutely delicious starter. The oysters were plump and delicious. Their pasta was perfectly cooked and beautifully balanced with the sauces. They serve lobster pasta at an affordable price, and it was perfectly prepared as well. The vongole pasta was also wonderfully made. Although their portions are quite generous, one course is never enough to satisfy your appetite for these elegant dishes. To finish, the creamy tiramisu and cannoli made the perfect final touch. And as a lovely surprise at the end of the night, the homemade limoncello and cherry–almond liqueur bid you farewell — even though you never want to leave this wonderful experience. The owners are very kind and humble people. After my girlfriend finished all the limoncello, they even gifted us two more in charming, authentic flask-shaped glasses. The music was fantastic too — full of 90’s vibes that made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. It was a wonderful way to bid farewell with our last dinner in Rome. Thank you!

Stefano and Vincenzo are the "theme" of this wonderful place in the heart of Monti. Their food is as high-quality as their wealth of dedicated experience. The hospitality is superb, like being at home. Roman-style atmosphere with huge windows overlooking the streets of Monti. I recommend it if you're looking for quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and tranquility with background music where you can chat without the chaos and noise. I give it a 6 ⭐, they're excellent. Delicious foods! love it...love it and LOVE IT!!

The whole menu looks delicious, we tried 4 different pastas and they were all excellent. The wine recommendations were spot on, and the pricing is very friendly. Definitely the kind of place I’d come to every day if I lived in Rome.

We have been to Rome several times, seen the main sites but the main highlight of our trips has always been visiting Vincenzo, Stefano and the team at Restaurant Tema. The friendly and inviting atmosphere makes you feel at home in such a large city. The service is par excellent, the food is absolutely delicious with good portion size. The selection of wine is awesome and Vincenzo will not lead you astray with suggestions. To finish the meal the lemonchello is the BEST!! We would highly recommend this restaurant as one of your choices for dining in Roma.

With all the establishments in Rome calling out to us, we went back a 2nd night it was that good! The food was wonderful, but more importantly watching how the staff interacted with all the patrons was amazing. Everyone one was welcome and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Pure Italiaanse keuken aan redelijke prijzen. Leuke sfeer en lekker eten. Gastvrije uitbaters. Zeker doen. De linguïst met kreeft was heel lekker, mijn gegrilde tonijn was er mss net wat over, maar wel lekker genoeg. Goeie wijnkaart, niet duur. Hiervoor bezoek je Rome😀

Wow, this restaurant was just fabulous. We dropped in on our third night in Rome, and we enjoyed the food, the service, the ambience so much that we booked when leaving for the following night. Both nights we had delicious food and wine - the wine, in particular, was delicious and came as a recommendation from the waiter, who was just so professional and helpful. The menu is great and all dishes we tried were excellent - and we never felt rushed. It's a restaurant you will not feel in a rush to leave! Highly recommended.
