Il Melograno di Matilde is a restaurant/osteria with an attached B&B located on the road to the Rossenella Tower and Rossena Castle. The view is breathtaking, and there are several nearby walks to enjoy. The summer terrace is very well-maintained, and they also organize summer events. The interior is spacious and well-furnished, although the temperature is a bit chilly. We came here on Wednesday for the pizza tour. The pizza was really good and light, with excellent quantity and quality. Friendly staff, reasonable prices.

We went for lunch during a car rally. It was a large group, so we booked in advance and pre-arranged the menu. Everything was perfect, delicious food, and fast, friendly service. Highly recommended!

Only stopped for a coffee and a drink. Beautiful view from the garden. Opening hours not posted, but I was informed that on Sundays they close at 3.00pm.

Nice place with a panoramic view, excellent value for money... If I may, I have two suggestions: Provide the à la carte menu where customers can see the prices, and if you offer a revisited zuppa inglese, it would be appropriate to let customers know.

The place is full of bees, the food is average, the waitresses are very kind and polite, but the real gem is the cat in the kitchen, sitting on a chair, quietly for all to see. I'll start by saying I'm an animal lover, but this is a bit much in a restaurant.

If Matilda built castles so she could see all the way to the Alps... what a view there is! The courtyard is right under the watchtower of Rossena Castle, facing the sea hidden behind the Apennines, but if you're quiet, you can hear it...

27/06/2026: Having been to multiple lidos on this beach, I can confidently say this one is the best. The staff are incredibly welcoming and nice, the water is crystal clear and lovely, the chairs are luxurious, and the views are spectacular. Do yourself a favor and spend the day relaxing at Lido Diana at the foot of Mt. Etna.
