Questo posto è perfetto per qualsiasi tipo di serata, in coppia sicuramente trovi un atmosfera romantica, con gli amici un'atmosfera tranquilla, con la famiglia un'atmosfera riservata. Architettonicamente parlando in ogni angolo di questo ristorante è un'esperienza da vivere. Il menù offre una soluzione che unisce tradizione e modernità. Noi abbiamo preso un antipasto misto caldo/freddo composto da maialino nero, bufala, polpette di pane al sugo, nido in pasta catawiki con ricotta e ribes, melanzane, bietoline croccantissime. Una bottiglia di Verbo Bianco Due primi: - orecchiette di grano arso con olio al crusco e mollica croccante. - Raviolo (4pz) con mozzarella di bufala e pesto di basilico. Dolce: 2 cannoli di pane con ricotta, mascarpone e gocce di cioccolato con una marmellata ai frutti di bosco. Era tutto buonissimo, io ho promesso alla cuoca, una meravigliosa e dolcissima cuoca che sarei tornata per il cannolo davanti a un caffè :) Il cameriere, socio del ristorante, credo si chiami Roberto, e di una gentilezza assurda. Dovrebbero esserci più camerieri come lui. Io sono di Matera, e ho portato un ragazzo che viene dalla Calabria qui per pranzo. Lui ha detto che era tutto eccezionale, io confermo la sua opinione anche perché non è la prima volta che vengo a mangiare qui e mi sono sempre trovata benissimo. È davvero uno dei pochi ristoranti veramente validi a Matera <3

Restaurant located in the heart of the historic center of Matera. Cozy and characteristic place. The service is quick and efficient, the owner of the place was really very kind in guiding us in exploring the local flavors. Lunch was excellent and the touch of class was the Panna cotta with caramelized Crusco pepper, orange EVO oil, a must try.

Cosimo super, ci ha sapientemente guidato attraverso un menù che ci ha fatto degustare piatti tipici e interessanti novità dello chef. Materie prime di qualità, ottima la degustazione di antipasti, una carta dei vini molto interessante. Servizio celere e personale molto attento e cordiale. Consiglio vivamente anche perché il locale è veramente carino.

Food was decent - nothing to rave about. The Panna Cotta was lovely. Staff was super friendly and helpful with Gluten free options.

The experience of eating in a cave is incredible. The food is delicious and the panna cotta, one of the best desserts I have ever eaten in my life.

We visited this spot around lunchtime, and while the food was delicious, it seemed they were a bit understaffed. Given that we came in a large group, the service was understandably slow, as we may have outnumbered the staff on hand. We enjoyed traditional Matera pasta, a flavorful beef dish, and finished with a delightful panna cotta for dessert. Each dish was well-prepared and truly captured the local flavors. Despite the slower service, I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the quality of the food. Overall, it was a pleasant experience—just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you’re coming with a big group.
