Excellent menu selection, the truffle dishes are exceptional. Centrally located in the Sassi district, a renovated cave. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Had one of our most delicious meals in Italy here one night. Great atmosphere and appreciated the chef coming out and greeting the table and checking on gluten free options. Plenty of gluten free options and good wine.

Stumbled upon this place when we were roaming around the streets of Matera. We specifically wanted “orecchiette e cime di rapa”. And the staff was happy to make it for us. The dishes were simply delicious and service was great!! I would highly recommend

We had a fantastic meal here. Had the mixed cheese board to share at the start, tagliatelle porcini mushrooms and three plate taster for mains and dessert of the day ricotta bread absolutely delicious. Service was great. Highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful meal here after initially ruling them out for the English name and pictures on the menu (usually red flags for us). I may have to revisit that line of thinking because this place is fantastic. We shared three entrees and all were equally great. Tried both house wines and finished with the tiramisu.

Fantastic experience! We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned for lunch the next day. The food was exceptional and the service was top-notch both times. A must-visit!

04/12/2025: The owner is passionate and super kind. The sandwiches are amazing. Get the spicy burrata or pesto burrata.
22/11/2025: Must visit place if you ever visit Matera. The sandwiches, or whatever you’ll call them are amazing. There are no bad choices, really. The one I took was with buratta, green pesto and mortadela. The composition and ingredients quality is just top of the 🔝 and I can only say… try it yourself 😍 The service is also great by the lady owner who also greeted us in Polish 😅 Great experience and reasonable prices.

26/06/2025: Delicious pizzas at a reasonable price. To take away or eat at a table in the parking lot. No table service, but that was no problem for us. Very tasty! And well arranged like that
