Soul Kitchen, Matera A restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, in the heart of Matera. The panna cotta is nice - light, creamy... The only complaint is that the tip is already included in the bill and is quite high, regardless of the total amount of the order. The bill is 9.50, and the tip is 6 euros.

We been coming back three day in the raw. It is a cave restaurant on a few levels and balcony. Beautiful. Eustachio (waiter) was very kind and friendly. we had a special treatment as we were coming in time no other Italians or tourist eats. Most of restaurants are closed during the lunch time but this one is open all day which is a big highly for us. Food was amazing, one of vegan option is traditional zuppa CRAPIATA which we recommend 😋 After all pasta and pizza you might need some zuppa 😉 And they have a great house red wine 🍷

The pasta with black truffle and porcini mushrooms is fantastic. The trio of pasta dishes with three different sauces is an excellent choice of flavors to discover. All accompanied by a delicious wine. I highly recommend this place!

On our tour starting from Puglia, we arrived here in Basilicata to visit Matera and for our two dinners we came here on the recommendation of a family cousin and we couldn't have made a better choice 😊 we ate divinely and the staff at this restaurant is truly very professional but above all friendly and welcoming 😊 for dinner tonight we had a table practically in the private room... a real gem 😍 thank you for your kindness and your skill and a thank you also from our little dog Aaron for the attention he received! Thank you thank you thank you and thank you again ❤️

26/06/2025: Delicious pizzas at a reasonable price. To take away or eat at a table in the parking lot. No table service, but that was no problem for us. Very tasty! And well arranged like that
