If the name reminds you of something, you are right, the idea comes from the famous fantasy books of which the owner of this restaurant is an avid reader. The environment is welcoming and the lady who coordinates the room is very kind and knowledgeable. The food is prepared well and excellent raw materials are used. The quality/price ratio is right, the offer is varied both for the menu and for the wines or bubbles. The venue is suitable for both couples and obviously a group of friends. The only flaw is the parking, unfortunately as in the whole city, it is difficult to find but not impossible. It's worth dropping by, booking is recommended.

Kitschy place with armor scattered at the entrance and in the rooms, rather dark and certainly not elegant. The service and welcome are warm, quite attentive and professional. The menu is based only on fish and there are traditional but also modern dishes. The prices are average (high), but adequate given that the quantity of fish in the portions is considerable. I tried a fish soup and found it a bit flat, with little flavour. The pasta off the menu was really good. The super gratin dish, however, was rather banal, with a lot of breading placed on little fish. The apple pie is also quite good.

The experience in this place was positive. The restaurant shows all the years it has both in a positive sense, in the freshness of the fish and the respect with which the raw material is treated, and in the slightly more negative ones: the interiors would need a profound renovation both on the walls and in the overall brightness. Furthermore, there are elements that are truly perplexing in 2024, above all the wine "list"...and even calling it a list is an act of generosity! In reality it is a list of grapes: Ribolla, Sauvignon, Fiano, Greco di Tufo...stuff that you can't see.
The discrepancies between what was written on the menu and what I found on the plate can be largely overlooked given the goodness of the preparation: I'm talking for example about the lobster tagliolini, which were actually tonnarelli. I close the slightly more conservative part with a note on the service: the first course was served to me and my partner with a 15 minute difference, morally she was eating her fish soup (good), I was looking at her; when it was my turn with the tonnarelli…she looked at me! I repeat, overall we had a good time because the dishes were good, one was even very good: the baked turbot with potatoes (excellent) and porcini mushrooms (very good). The appetizer was decent and was based on grilled calamari (actually calamari) on truffle cream, anchovy fillet and pecorino fondue. Nice idea, but too many covering flavors. Perhaps if instead of squid there had been real squid the result would have been better.
The dinner was accompanied by a bottle of 2023 Greco di Tufo di Vinosia, very good.

Great place, fantastic cuisine. The staff is friendly and helpful, very attentive to customer needs. We will return without any doubt, especially to try the various raw fish dishes. Highly recommended

Super top restaurant no plus ultra for fresh fish as if it were just caught (also flattered by my capricious stomach like a premier dame 😂), here I would say 10 and praise.
It's a shame about the service, although impeccable in courtesy, I would say that it should be taken care of in form (a nice uniform, a suit for the women and a nice dark maitre's suit for the boys: then it would have no equal in Milan!
And then the environment, very beautiful because it recalls the interior of a medieval residence, but not yet well set up and not at the same level as the super quality of the fish.
I hope that everything I have described so far can be read by the property as suggestions, and not as criticisms: the location deserves it and we will certainly return. FINAL JUDGMENT: RUN AND TRY IT!❤️

Andiamo molte volte in questo ristorante.
Ci troviamo bene sia per l’accoglienza, molto familiare, sì anche alla buona, e ovviamente per i piatti prosposti.
Di solito antipasto di ostriche (buon rapporto prezzo/qualità), ieri anche un assaggio di lumachine di mare, ottime.
Spaghetti all’astice (non linguine, si può chiedere il cambio) e piatto di gratinato. Molto buono sempre il crudo , carpacci e tartare.
Fantastico il dolce: tarte tatine con gelato al calvados e cassata siciliana al forno.
