I stumbled upon this place by chance. What a pleasant surprise! A simple, self-service restaurant that allows you to eat quickly and cheaply, considering it's located in the center of Florence. Everything hasn't changed because the place hasn't been renovated, but it's all clean.

Excellent food, absolutely delicious. Prices are around 5-6 pesos per dish and 4 pesos for desserts. Best of all, the location is super close to the church. I really enjoyed it and would definitely visit again. The portions are generous. Greetings from Mexico!

I'm updating my review by removing one star. Good self-service restaurant in the heart of Florence. I have the feeling the quality is declining...today the first course was overcooked. The side dish wasn't hot and tasteless. I don't think I'll return.

20/01/2026: This is a fantastic place with great and authentic food, an amazing wine list, and amazing people who will make you feel at home. La Volpi e l'Uva is a fantastic place. The dishes are authentic and made with quality ingredients, the wine selection is vast and well-stocked, but the real highlight is the hospitality.

18/01/2026: This restaurant specializes in seafood, offering very high quality, original recipes, and excellent value for money at lunchtime. It's more expensive in the evening, but the quality remains excellent. The staff is very friendly.
16/01/2026: My friend's favorite restaurant. The noodles are all quite delicious 😋 The tuna fillet is very special, and it's great with the pickled onions on the side.
