Nothing to say, excellent quality food, generous quantities, polite and kind waiters who transmit serenity and positivity, the perfect meal

This is our third visit to this seafood restaurant located in the historic center of Cesenatico, near the fishmongers and the canal port. Four of us dined on a recently renovated veranda, used as an extension to the historic restaurant. The wait staff were warm and helpful. We enjoyed homemade tagliolini, seafood risotto, and passatelli with fish sauce and Taggiasca olives. For our second course, we shared a generous and excellent Gran Fritto di pesce (Great Fried Fish). It was all accompanied by a couple of bottles of excellent local sparkling wine, Pignoletto. Table service was prompt and efficient. Excellent value for money. A must-try for us, highly recommended! Congratulations, we'll definitely be back!

San Marco Fish Restaurant in Cesenatico offers very good, plentiful food. I recommend it to everyone. I've been going there for many years, and it gets better every time.

An excellent seafood restaurant located in the heart of Cesenatico, in Piazza Fiorentini, a historic square also home to the public fish market. A stone's throw from Porto Canale, the city's iconic landmark, the heart of nightlife and the main promenade, San Marco offers an authentic and refined experience. Impeccable management, exceptional hospitality, and truly exceptional customer service: nothing is left to chance. The seafood first courses are excellent, as are all the second courses, always fresh and expertly prepared. A must-visit for those who love authentic seafood cuisine in the heart of Cesenatico.

Saturday Evening: Excellent Dinner with Friends At the suggestion of a couple of friends (S. & M.), we went to dinner at Il San Marco, a historic restaurant in Cesenatico, located in Piazza Fiorentini, next to the old fish market and a few steps from the promenade along the eastern side of the Porto Canale. The restaurant, beautifully decorated in a maritime style, boasts a pleasant outdoor veranda overlooking Cesenatico's old fish market. The restaurant has eight rooms that can accommodate no fewer than 150 guests. We preferred to dine inside the veranda, in a quiet corner right next to the window for greater tranquility. The restaurant offers both à la carte dishes and four fish-based tasting menus featuring classic traditional Romagna seafood dishes. We ordered a Mixed Antipasto (appetizer with scallops, cannellini, crab and mussels au gratin, seafood salad, salmon, anchovies, and scampi) for one couple to share, and a Gran Freddo San Marco (octopus and potato salad, seafood salad, marinated anchovy crostini with Tropea, poached salmon, carpaccio, oysters, and shrimp cocktail) for the other couple to share. The Gran Freddo San Marco obviously featured more seafood. Both dishes were refined and delicious. Then we moved on to two Mixed Grills (catch of the day), a Fish Soup (soup with clams, cuttlefish, mazzola, monkfish, scorpionfish, and mussels, all cooked in tomato sauce with cloves, garlic, and oil), and a San Marco Skewer (mixed skewers of monkfish, shrimp, scallops, and swordfish with vegetables), which was also very generous. The chefs' expertise, refined preparation, use of available raw materials, and careful and meticulous workmanship were evident in every course. The dinner was washed down with a half bottle of excellent Gewurztraminer Aromatico, unlimited water, dessert or sorbet, and a coffee. The final price was more than respectable at €86.00 per couple. The wait staff was attentive, professional, and friendly.

A place dear to my heart! When I think of a good seafood meal, I think of San Marco. The dishes were excellent, the fish was incredibly fresh, and the prices were truly fair. We tried the tasting menu and were very satisfied. There was no wait, and the service was perfect. Kudos to the young man who greeted us, who was able to find a pleasant and suitable seating for us and our dogs, and to Josef, our waiter, for his friendliness and impeccable professionalism. We'll see you again soon!

Nice place. The fish is good. The atmosphere is lovely. The service is perfect. Joséf is VERY GOOD. The girl at the cashier is much less friendly. Highly recommended.

Very welcoming place and good food

Ottimo cibo di pesce e abbondante, abbiamo preso il menù 2 da 43€ e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Ottimi i sorbetti al limone e al caffè. Ma soprattutto il personale gentilissimo, il nostro cameriere Marco il top.😁👍

Sono stato sabato scorso con una coppia di amici totale 4 adulti e 4 ragazze…cena fantastica! Abbiamo preso il menù da 50 euro che si e’ dimostrato un trionfo di bontà. Pesce freschissimo, ben cucinato e in gran quantità! Indimenticabile il cappelletto e la grigliata di’ crostacei. Servizio impeccabile! Lo straconsiglio
