Rigolo – a place I call my own I've been frequenting Rigolo for years, and every time it feels like coming home. The Simoncini family has built something rare: a restaurant that hasn't lost its soul over time. The kitchen offers a successful blend of Tuscan tradition and Milanese influences. Solid, flavorful dishes, prepared with authentic ingredients and with the care you recognize from the first bite. The service is familiar in the best sense of the word: they know you, they make you feel welcome; you're never just another customer. And the atmosphere reflects all this: warm, informal, and unpretentious. If you're looking for an authentic place to eat well and feel good, Rigolo is a safe bet. For me, it has been for a long time, and it will continue to be.

A place from another era. Elegant, with nice people, international. The service staff is friendly and welcoming.

A Tuscan restaurant, historic in Milan, with well-known patrons. I remember meeting many journalists (and even editors) from the nearby Corriere there. A longtime regular in the past was the actor Calindri.

The quintessential classic Milanese restaurant. They (in my humble opinion) lost their way a little in the kitchen a couple of years back, but they are again producing considered, satisfying food respectful to tradition and with ample choices for vegetarian/pescatarian. The staff are kind, attentive and good humoured. We really felt looked after. Every time we are in Milan we return here. Grazie mille per ancora un'altra cena perfetta. Se non mangiassimo a Rigolo non sarebbe un viaggo giusto a Milano!

The food is good, although, as other users have said, there are a few too many chips here and there. The place is retro but cute, and the service is attentive and fast.

A historic restaurant in Milan, serving Tuscan-inspired cuisine. Attentive wait staff, a unique atmosphere with numerous cartoonists/journalists on the walls. Excellent ingredients are used for the dishes, with the tartare and fillet steaks being very good. The desserts are also excellent.
