I knew the food was good, but I was held back by the probably undeserved reputation of being a rather expensive restaurant. However, I have to change my mind, the prices are now in line with the majority of restaurants in the upper Sangro (perhaps also due to the general increase in restaurant prices in the area...), the quality has confirmed itself as excellent and so has the offer. , despite being in the local culinary tradition, is a little more original than average.
Overall passed, I'll be back!

Sunday lunch (2 adults and 2 children) very positive. A little dated but well-kept environment, excellent location at the foot of Monte Pratello with beautiful views. Not too varied menu, very particular (for children there is always the option of pasta with sauce or grilled slice). We tasted the farrotto (superb), the ravioli with taleggio and cherry tomatoes (very good), the fillet with Jerusalem artichoke and truffle and the lamb shank (both very good).
Medium-high prices, slightly excessive.
But overall a great experience

Sono rimasto davvero colpito dal ristorante Quarto del pozzo l’atmosfera è accogliente e il personale è estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Ma il punto di forza del locale è senz’altro la cucina. In questo locale avrete la possibilità di gustare prodotti tipici della tradizione Ieri sera ho assaporato il piatto “farrotto con porcini e tartufo” ed è stata un'esplosione di sapori, Consiglio vivamente questo posto a tutti gli amanti del buon cibo!

Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per due adulti ed un bambino….siamo arrivati con un po’ di anticipo e ci siamo accomodati!
Avendo letto le recensioni avevo paura potessero non essere accettati i bambini,ed era una sciocchezza!
Abbiamo mangiato egregiamente!
Anche la semplice pasta al pomodoro per il piccolo era deliziosa!
Poi abbiamo preso una chiatarrina al tartufo nero OTTIMA ed una pasta con carciofi e pancetta SUPER,tanto che invece di prendere un secondo abbiamo bissato con il primo!
Servizio accogliente!
E personale gentile….

Piatti buoni, abbiamo preso dei primi, i tonnarelli con asparagi e guanciale davvero deliziosi
Anche la carne buonissima, il brasato di cinghiale tenero e succosissimo!
Vista bellissima, di fronte la famosa pista nera La Direttissima (o cucchiaio)
