A place created many years ago for snacks and picnics, nestled in the woods, over the years they opened a restaurant, and it has become a rustic yet delightful location for ceremonies and other events, with large green spaces—a peaceful haven in the Siena countryside. The cuisine is traditional Tuscan, with homemade pasta, grilled meats, and locally sourced vegetables. In short, a place to enjoy a good lunch and fresh air!

Ristorante-Pizzeria Ai Girasoli

08/01/2026: We stayed at the hotel next door and had dinner here. The place was very beautiful and well-appointed, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I broke a glass as soon as I arrived, but they were very kind in fixing it right away. My son's pasta with ragù was excellent, the tagliolini alla Pescatoria was very good, as were the cold cuts. Perhaps only the liver pâté was a bit "no." I had fried lamb chops, perhaps a little too breaded, but good! My cuttlefish and artichoke salad was excellent, and the tiramisu was perhaps one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended restaurant, everything was really good. The bill was also reasonable.
06/01/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant, thanks in particular to the lovely Klerjan, who handled my requests with great care. I had the buffalo mozzarella pizza, which was truly exceptional!

ROSSO VIVO Pizzeria Verace con forno a legna

16/01/2026: A nice place, with a water park-like organization for ordering and pickup. The meat was very good, but the pizza had a rubbery crust, not ideal. The appetizer was too greasy, but it's fine for those who like greasy food. I can't stand it. The baked vegetables were excellent.
