Excellent pizza and fried foods

An authentic and genuine culinary experience, far from the chaos of the city and immersed in the tranquility of the Umbrian countryside, Ristorante Pizzeria San Bartolomeo, located on the Strada Statale della Contessa, is a stop well worth considering. San Bartolomeo's strong point is undoubtedly its cuisine, firmly rooted in local traditions with a wide array of dishes, from classic Umbrian first courses featuring homemade pasta to grilled meat main courses (they also serve pizza, but I haven't tried it). The restaurant's atmosphere is rustic, welcoming, and familiar. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The atmosphere is typical of old-fashioned trattorias. The quality-price ratio is excellent, with prices fair and appropriate for the quality and size of the portions. The service is quick and attentive.

Last night (Saturday), five of us ate there. The food was varied and delicious, the service was prompt, and we left €90 at the cash register. What do you think? Is it worth going back?

They are not very well equipped for periods of great heat

I stopped here because my accommodation was nearby. Did not expect anything special, but my god. Great tagliatelle, great bistecco, great staff, great energy. Staff speaks a bit of english, i do not speak italian, so it was perfect. Thank you for a great evening dinner

Serata sensazionale. Cibo ottimo e non costoso. Più portate del primo di tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale. Antipasto, dolce e bevande. 20€ a testa per noi, gruppo di 25 persone. Camerieri cordiali e accoglienti.
