Ottomano is a charming family run business with the kindest owners and servers. Not only did we try some of the best seafood we had in Ischia here, but the restaurant allowed us to stay inside with them even when they were closing, because of the rainfall that wouldn’t stop. We were unprepared and they kindly welcomed us to remain indoors as we enjoyed an espresso and cuddles from the owners dog. The mixed seafood appetizer is a must - it changed my opinion on anchovies for the better because of how fresh and lightly dressed in lemon it was. Everything is worth trying here. Taking the €5 taxi boat from S. Angelo to Spiaggia dei Maronti on October 6, 2025 (the day after the storm) was quite an experience for me. The sea offered otherworldly colors, and the visibility was so clear that I could recognize almost every house on the island of Capri. Things started off well for me!
I had already bookmarked the Ottomano in Hamburg. I was not disappointed: the view, the food (super fresh alici marinati to start with, gnocchi alla sorrentina for the main course), a full bread basket, a large bottle of water, coffee, excellent service, and fabulous value for money. In short: simply delicious and wonderful! Il mio nuovo luogo di felicità – grazie mille! Tornerò!

We come to Ischia to eat fish as God intended, here at Ottomano. Besides the exceptional food, the welcome is amazing, and the atmosphere is clean and beautiful. I also recommend swimming at Ciro's, a delightful and very helpful person. It's always a great pleasure.

Such nice people - in the restaurant and also the lifeguard on the beach. We really enjoyed the view from the restaurant and the food, although the salad was quite boring and too watery. Desserts were top notch!!

The memories were different... always welcoming and courteous, but the atmosphere had changed.
The prices were like those of a city restaurant.
It was wonderful to experience the golden age.

Amazing view, delicious food, unfortunately a bit slow service.
If you are into desserts, try a cheesecake with white chocolate and pistachio pasta, it was surprisingly good
