My girlfriend and I went for a tour of the coast, and on the way back we decided to stop at Ninuccio's. We asked if it was possible to dine without a reservation, and they very kindly said yes, allowing us to sit either in the dining room or on the terrace (we preferred the terrace). Of course, we started with Ninuccio's signature dish, the giant croquettes. We had four classic croquettes, one Genovese, and one with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella. Everything was truly excellent: perfectly fried, crispy, and the inside melted in your mouth, using quality ingredients.

I've been going to Ninuccio's for over 30 years and have always appreciated the cleanliness, the courtesy, and the pizza, so good it seemed to come from another planet. Tonight, however, I found the service dirty and the pizza absolutely light years away from the usual ones they've always served—thin and crispy, almost like a biscuit. The price is average: three pizzas, a Coke, and a beer for €26. The staff is friendly, the girls are kind and attentive, and most importantly, they don't rush you to leave when you're finished eating. I'll definitely be back for another chance.
Update:
I've returned after five years, and things haven't changed at all. The pizza is inedible. It looks like a biscuit, it's hard, and the dough is rolled out with obsessive precision (it looks like it was rolled out with a roller) and the tomato sauce (so precise it looks like it was made with a machine). It tastes like a pre-packaged pizza. The price has obviously increased, from €26 to €32 for the same items.

We tried the famous classic and lard croquettes. Spectacular! The zucchini flowers and side dishes were also truly excellent.

Good pasta e fagioli (€13.00, but a bit too much) and crocchettoni (€10.00 each...too much).
ABSOLUTELY AVOID WINE AND DESSERTS.
2 Aglianico Ninuccio wines, served in a jug with peaches and lots of ice that tasted more like water than wine. Cost: €30.00. Mr. Ninuccio must have calculated the peaches at €40.00 per kg. A rip-off!! Where does this gentleman have his vineyard and grow these grapes? Also: 1 bottle of Gragnano Cantine Federiciane (?!?!), cost €23.00 (€8.90 at the supermarket). 1 bottle of Gragnano Cantine Ottouve, cost €24.00 (€22.50 online). As for desserts, 1 mini piglet with icing and a little cream inside, €8.00. 1 lemon delight, which tasted like water, not limoncello, €8.00. Not even De Riso in Minori is this expensive...but you can eat dessert there.

I hadn't been here in 40 years! It was exciting to walk in and remember the first and last time I came to Ninuccio's. Everything was the same as it used to be, except for the pizza...unfortunately, it's not what I remembered, and that's why I'm not giving it 5 stars.
Everything was delicious, except the pizza—what a shame!
