A historic restaurant in Meta that has made quality its hallmark.
They invented the giant croquette...and pizza with the best fiordilatte on the peninsula...too.
Truly excellent...and I've met all three generations who have always led this restaurant to a very high standard.
Well done!
I forgot...the only restaurant on the peninsula that has maintained a fair quality-price ratio!

Ninuccio's specialty is his giant crocche. Golden to perfection, crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside. The pizza is also good.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a few years, but everything has remained unchanged. The atmosphere is simple, like a family Sunday lunch. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is fresh and authentic. The highlight is the famous giant croquette, truly excellent.

Ninuccio's giant croquette is a must for anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast. We also tried a sautéed clam dish that spoke like the gods, and even the fritto misto with a honey sauce was a huge surprise. The staff's courtesy and professionalism complete the picture of a place not to be missed when you're in the area.

People who leave very positive reviews evidently haven't had the chance to appreciate the founders' management. The flavor of the crocchettone of the past (you could have eaten 3 or 4 on your own and they'd leave you with a memory that made you anxiously await the next opportunity), at least for what happened to us, hasn't been reflected in the dishes at all. The ones we've eaten recently (we haven't been there in about 4 years) are a bland copy of the previous ones, a "base" that needs to be heavily stuffed to contain the flavor, and the breading, once deliciously chunky, crunchy, and rustic, is now just a veil of fine grains. It may have been a coincidence, but the "pure" ones we ordered didn't even have mozzarella inside. What can I say? We just got it on one night, didn't we? However, hearing the opinions of acquaintances on the matter, I find it hard to believe.

Locale carino e accogliente, personale disponibile e gentile.
Ordinato 1 crocchè classico e 1 nerano entrambi fresci e buonissimi, molto buona anche la frittura gamberi e calamari, porzioni più che abbondanti.
Fascia prezzo giusta per rapporto qualità prezzo.
Consigliato ci ritorneremo.
