Ristorante Pizzeria DONATELLO In Imola

I had dinner at this restaurant and I must say that it was a very pleasant surprise. The environment is refined, welcoming, and the service was impeccable: fast, discreet, never intrusive. You can see that there is a solid organization behind it, which works without making any noise. One of the aspects that struck me most was the selection of cold cuts: nothing to be taken for granted, on the contrary. Highest quality products, freshly cut and served with great attention accompanied by the so-called "Squacquerone", which I still dream about at night. And then the fried gnocco... simply stratospheric. Crispy at the right point, light, fragrant: one of those apparently simple dishes, which when done well really leave their mark. I took a look at the menu and the prices: absolutely in line with the market, indeed, considering the quality of the overall experience, I would even say honest. It is rare to find such a successful balance between substance, service and atmosphere. I will definitely go back, maybe to try other dishes too. It really deserves it.

Ho organizzato qui la mia festa di laurea: buffet super fornito, staff disponibile e competente. Ci siamo trovati benissimo!

Large and simple room. Really good pizza, well leavened and stuffed. I ordered a plate of spaghetti with clams and was served with more than half of the clams closed and obviously inedible. I think it is useless to point out that closed clams or mussels leave some doubts about their freshness.

Ci siamo trovati sempre benissimo tutte le volte che abbiamo cenato al ristorante del Donatello. Le pietanze sia di pesce che di carne, erano tutte ottime e hanno sempre soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative. Anche la pizza l'abbiamo trovata decisamente buona e molto digeribile. È sicuramente un ristorante che consigliamo a tutti coloro che apprezzano il buon cibo al giusto prezzo.

I had dinner with my partner for his birthday. A very pleasant evening with excellent food (fish) and friendliness from all the waiters. A special thanks to the kitchen that improvised a mini cake with candles! I would say that the quality/price ratio is also very interesting. Highly recommended. I will definitely go back, maybe during the Baccanale.
