This is a lovely little hotel, right in the heart of Malcesine. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Gio who looked after us the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble. I really hope we'll be able to return soon.

This is all about the restaurant, and it's fabulous. I haven't been this satisfied with the value for money in a long time. Truly great. The food is very good, the service is very good, and the atmosphere on the terrace is okay.

*** Dining *** We had dinner here three times during our four-day vacation and were never disappointed. We were here once in 2023, again in 2025, and will definitely be back in 2026. The waiter, with the fastest fingers when entering orders into the machine, is friendly and attentive, simply fantastic. After paying the bill, there's always a house thank you, which could be a limoncello, amaretto, or even an espresso. Here, the guest is king. The food tastes great, always freshly prepared, no flavor enhancers - thank you to everyone in the service, the chef, and our favorite waiter.

Pesce spada alla griglia con contorno ottimo! Io l'ho preso con le verdure grigliate ed il mio compagno con le patate al forno, abbiamo fatto a metà assaggiando le due varianti. Hanno offerto la pizza al pane prima della portata che è stata davvero gradita. Servizio davvero buono e veloce, personale professionale.

Mi sono fermato per pranzo a Malcesine e conoscendo già il ristorante mi sono fermato qui. Ordinato pesce spada alla griglia...buonissimo. Personale cortese e simpatico

08/09/2025: We happened upon the Rubiani for lunch by chance. The restaurant made a very good impression with its lovely ambiance and beautifully set tables. The staff, as well as the owner and owner, were very friendly and extremely attentive. Our little dog was also warmly welcomed. We chose melon with ham for starters. The portion was very generous! The melon and ham were of excellent quality. Next, we had tagliato di manzo. This was one of the best! If not THE BEST tagliata we've ever had! Excellent! And again, there was plenty. Even our request for an unseasoned chicken breast for our dog was fulfilled without any problems. We had an all-around very good meal with very attentive service and a beautiful setting. We can only praise this place! We were also allowed to sit in the restaurant as long as we wanted. There was no time limit that put us under pressure. The prices are completely reasonable for the excellent food and the amount of food that was truly sufficient for everyone. We thank the entire team for a wonderful experience!
