The atmosphere is typical of a Venetian osteria, with paintings on the walls, the food is good and the service is efficient, my father and I chose two seafood menus of the day and spent 19.90 euros each.

A warm welcome, delicious and generous cuisine, excellent value for money, just steps from St. Mark's Square. No cover charge, house wine by the carafe at a reasonable price. We ate there three nights in a row. A clientele of regulars, which is a good sign.

Ai Pie del Ponte

09/03/2026: Menu changes with the seasons and what is available fresh. Andre shows you the ingredients he is about to prepare when you order. Lovely little spot and a superior host.
11/02/2026: I had the most incredible time dining here last night. We had a large group of 7, and were fortunately able to get a table later in the evening (8:30pm). It was immediately clear that we were in for a treat. The owner, Andrea, was charming, funny, and took so much pride and love in his selection of ingredients and wine. Our entire group agreed that it was the best dining experience of the entire trip.
