Osteria La Lanterna In Valsolda

We had lunch here on November 1st, view on a beautiful day we were outdoors overlooking the lake. Excellent service, excellent cuisine. It is not a tavern but a great restaurant.

Cozy environment and the staff make you feel at ease without being too intrusive. The dishes chosen both in presentation and taste had an excellent impact. If you are in these parts I recommend you go there (booking in advance).

Excellent cuisine, a slightly narrow but convivial space and very helpful staff. I tried the homemade tagliatelle with roast sauce and mushrooms, really very good! The staff is very attentive to customers' intolerances and allergies, but the menu does not offer many alternatives other than "removing" or advising against one dish rather than another. Restaurant worth the detour! A thousand thanks.

Beautiful experience. Comfortable environment, few tables in the cold season, outdoor part in the summer. seasonal menus with good choice, refined and quality dishes. Excellent service, with a small entre offered and delicious breadsticks

On our first visit, we tasted menus, delicious food, with kind and attentive service. We were satisfied, so we came again and were not disappointed! ☺️

The staff were super welcoming and hospitable even tho we don’t speak Italian. Everything was delicious, they have very elaborate vegetarian choices. Would definitely visit again if I’m in the area!

Il ristorante è molto carino, personale molto disponibile e cordiale. Abbiamo preso come antipasto la pizza fritta, e per secondo il maialino con verdure in carpione e la manzetta abbronzata. Tutto davvero molto buono! I dolci strepitosi (il Gigante che dorme e la Valsolda in un morso). Consigliatissimo!

Liegt direkt an der Straße mit entsprechendem Verkehrslärm. Das Essen ist gut mit Luft nach oben,die Karte etwas schwierig zu verstehen. Es gibt 3 Gang Menüs für 38 Euro, was ok ist! Vom Dessert waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Limonentarte mit Merengue. Von Limonen war in der Creme nichts zu schmecken, Merengue nicht überzeugend, sehr schade. Die Pasta mit Fisch und Safran waren perfekt am Senta, nur etwas wenig Fisch. Die geräucherte Forelle war sehr salzig. Schöne Weinauswahl zu annehmbaren Preisen.
