The environment is beautiful and welcoming. Don't let the term "cascina" be misleading, it is a quality fish restaurant located in an old, wonderfully renovated Lombard farmhouse. The quality of the products and the service are paid for in economic terms, however not disproportionately, especially if you don't overdo it with the extensive wine list where the offer can lead to truly expensive bottles.
Update 2024: Francesco is always an excellent host.

Located a stone's throw from busy Cassanese, you will feel like you are entering another world. Inside the historic farmhouse you will find an elegant, welcoming environment and excellent food. I recommend the Catalan octopus and prawns, and the paccheri with lobster. Prices high but in relation to the quality. Definitely worth trying.

Dining at Cascina Ovi is feeling good in all its forms, the environment, the climate, the staff, the hospitality and last but not least the food. When you arrive, the owners, Francesco and Antonella are like old friends who couldn't wait to see you. A mood that they have transmitted to their collaborators and obviously to the children who work with them lately. The dishes are exceptional except for some which are tremendously exceptional, such as the shrimp and burrata ravioli or the signature mixed fry.
Always pay special attention to children, giving priority to them even with off-menu items.
Suitable for any type of event, from family lunch to ceremonies and anniversaries

Posh place , interesting unique kitchen and flavours. Not for everybody’s taste pallet, personally didn’t enjoy most of the dishes . Expensive , still intereting Sicilian food experience. Staff kino and helpful, nice complimentary drink were offered before leaving.

Siamo ritornati in questo locale, dopo esperienza precedente dalla quale siamo rimasti ben impressionati. Ampi saloni, accoglienza cortese e servizio che accompagna il cliente nella sua scelta. Arredamento curato, atmosfera tranquilla. Menu sia di carne che di pesce, carta dei vini ben fornita. Per la scelta sia del cibo che del vino ci siamo affidati al consiglio del gestore, sempre disponibilissimo. Ottima sia la qualità del cibo che del vino e apprezzabile l'impiattamento. Tempi d'attesa nella norma. Rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguato a quanto sopra. Consigliato!

Sono stato in questo ristorante per un pranzo di lavoro e ci siamo trovati molto bene.
Abbiamo provato come antipasto un ottima tartare di ricciola con tartufo nero e un buon tonno scottato come portata principale.
