Ristorante Novecento In Milano

Nice place located in a very nice area and easily accessible by PUBLIC TRANSPORT, the staff is a bit disconcerted. You have a wide selection of food but I advise you not to take the pizza because there are much better dishes even if the pizza is not bad, prices a little high

Three stars because there was probably too much turnout that evening and we were not satisfied. We took Wiener schnitzel, which was actually a thin breaded paillard, dry and tasteless. I asked for a slice of salmon with a side of herbs and it was served to me for 25 euros, a slice of salmon and a thin slice, cooked very badly on the hot plate, because it had a crust bordering on burnt that was hard, bitter and the inside it was stringy, and tasted like schnitzel. The herbs, on the other hand, were just scalded with the stems almost raw and were mixed with other dark leaves from previous cooking or poorly thawed. The restaurant was crowded and I think the pizza must be good because we were rubbing shoulders with the next table and I saw that they were large, thin, well seasoned and not burnt. I have no idea about the former. The staff is friendly and attentive to the customer.

Questo ristorante/pizzeria è un ottimo posto per consumare con amici cibi veramente buoni e anche la pizza non è niente male. Il servizio è buono e i camerieri sono disponibili professionali. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono, anche se alcune pietanze sono un po' care per quello che offrono, ma nel complesso è da provare

Il ristorante si presenta arredato in maniera sobria, il personale è gentile e preparato, l'attesa per le ordinazioni direi nella norma, anche se c'era molta gente, buone le preparazioni dei piatti come qualità del gusto e della vista, direi un buon ristorante dove passare una serata in coppia o tra amici senza troppe pretese.

The restaurant is furnished in a sober way, the staff is kind and knowledgeable, the wait for orders I would say is normal, even if there were a lot of people, the preparation of the dishes was good in terms of quality of taste and sight, I would say a good restaurant where you can spend an evening as a couple or with friends without too many pretensions.
