We had a fantastic experience at Ristorante Max in Positano! After getting off a boat without dinner reservations, we stopped in right as they were opening and were so grateful they welcomed us in. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The restaurant itself is beautiful — filled with local art that gives it such a unique and charming atmosphere. We started with buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes, followed by lemon fish, truffle pasta, and seafood pasta — all perfectly prepared and full of flavor. For dessert, we shared the local apple tart and crème brûlée, which were both excellent. Delicious food, warm service, and a beautiful setting — definitely worth a visit while in Positano!

Lasagna, Spaghetti with Cherry Tomatoes, Spaghetti with Clams, Fish of the day, house red, vanilla & chocolate gelato, and an apple tart. We had 7:30 reservations but got there early before the rush and they got us right in. It's in the middle of Positano away from some of the crowds. A great first dinner

Fantastic restaurant with beautiful ambience and art indoors and delightful garden for outdoors. We had the specials of the day which were probably the best dishes we ate in our whole stay in Positano. Impressive wine collection as well. Absolutely worth it and feels overlooked.

The selection of ingredients is top-notch, demonstrating a constant pursuit of quality. The dough, the result of a long leavening process, is the perfect foundation to enhance these flavors. Each pizza is a masterpiece of balance and flavor. If you love uncompromising quality, this is your place.
