We visited the museum, and due to a thunderstorm, we went to the restaurant of the same name. The food is undoubtedly very good, but unfortunately, there are hardly any vegetarian dishes.

A restaurant that you can't miss.... The food is divine and the staff is fantastic... I will definitely go back. And as promised I went back and everything was perfect qualified expert and very kind staff raw material and preparation together with the presentation make everything special Sunday 29th June we celebrated my birthday even if with two days delay and the excellent successes of my daughter at university and I would say that it couldn't have gone better.... Thanks to all the staff you made this day special.

Fine Italian cuisine in a historic setting. I really enjoyed the perfectly prepared risotto, the Filet Rossini with red wine sauce, and the tiramisu served in a cylinder.

This year was our third time at Maffei for dinner – with high expectations, as the last two years both the service and the food were top-notch! This year, we were unfortunately disappointed. The service, including the friendliness, has declined considerably. The beef cheeks always tasted great, but this time it was the complete opposite: the mash was unseasoned and boring, and the dessert was also a disappointment. It's a shame! 4 stars only because it was great the last two years. This current visit would have earned a maximum of 3 stars.

Atmosphere tonight was a bit ruined by buskers playing nearby. Service was pleasant but difficult to get their attention. I had to call them over a few times for wine rather than have them arrive at the table to check on us. also the courses came too quickly in succession. Felt a bit rushed.
As for the food, the beef cheeks and gnocchi were delicious. But both quite rich. The cod and beef tartar were also good starters but again quite rich.

Cena di lavoro, nulla da obiettare sul cibo davvero ottimo, notevole il riso al sedano di Verona e coniglio. Peccato per il servizio, purtroppo siamo stati lasciati per più di un'ora ad attendere un'entree mai arrivata e poi estrema lentezza nel servizio per un menù per buona parte concordato per tutto il tavolo. Purtroppo questo ha reso la serata poco piacevole.

Situato nel palazzo Maffei nel centro storico di Verona , il ristorante si presenta elegante , arredato con gusto e con un'atmosfera rilassante .
Essendo una cenza aziendale il menù , in questo caso di pesce , era pre-ordinato , per cui non ho avuto la possibilità di leggere il menù completo . I piatti erano tutti ben eseguiti e con un ottimo impiattamento . Il servizio svolto da personale molto giovane è stato ineccepibile .La cantina da noi visitata alla fine della cena impressionante e le vestigia romane veramente uniche .
Insomma gran bella esperienza !
