Excellent restaurant in the center of Verona, with a refined atmosphere, impeccable service, and excellent food. It's worth a visit. Among the desserts, the tiramisu with pandoro stands out, a real treat.

Exceptional, quality is the watchword, combined with elegance and kindness. The food is excellent, especially the revisited versions of Venetian dishes, and the wines are excellent. We tried specialties paired with local wines, from Prosecco to Amarone and Recioto. Highly recommended.

During our weekend in Verona, we decided to try this restaurant, nestled in the splendid setting of Palazzo Maffei directly on Piazza delle Erbe. From the moment you enter, you're immersed in a refined and elegant atmosphere. We decided to try the meat tasting menu. Each dish gave us a different experience, but a special mention goes to the tortello stuffed with ossobuco, saffron, and parsley oil. An enveloping explosion of flavors. Carefully prepared and delicious dishes. The same can be said of the staff: kind, attentive, and professional. Excellent value for money. Reservations recommended. If you want to treat yourself to a treat in the heart of Verona, this is the place to be!

A tasting menu of fish and meat with reasonable prices, in fact I'd say very attractive. Service was prompt, courteous, and extremely professional. A welcome treat, with fragrant bread, olive oil, and butter. Delicious scallops and an unparalleled beetroot risotto.

For such a refined place I would have expected top notch service. We had to ask multiple times for allergens. Gluten free bread came in once and late. Wine list is extensive but the recommendations were a bit off our description. No soft menu which was weird two people at our place were underage and would have appreciate options other than "coke". Overall a nice experience but not something I would rave about.

Strange combinations of ingredients in the dishes. Oversalted or tasteless. Poor service. The interior is inviting.

Christmas with family, served and pampered with culinary delights and good wine. It's always a delightful experience.

A weekend in Verona for an important event with Maestro Jose Antonio Morante in Puebla, culminating in a thrilling finale: seeing him in the historic Roman arena with his cape. To round off the day in style, friends reserved a table at the legendary Ristorante Maffei. Located in the historic building steeped in history in Piazza delle Erbe, built on the remains of the thousand-year-old walls that once formed the Roman Capitol. An unmissable venue, brimming with charm and class, with a cellar stocked with the finest Italian and international labels, its walls literally lined with meticulously preserved bottles. A group of friends sharing a deep passion, hailing from every region of Italy and beloved Andalusia. We chose a smaller menu, having just returned from a large lunch. One of the house specials was the great eggplant parmigiana and beef cheek braised in Amarone with a cream of potato, herbs, and marinated radicchio. Some couldn't resist the Felicetti Monigrani mezze maniche with guinea fowl ragù, porcini mushrooms, and thyme. For dessert, the panettone from the Maffei bakery with a memorable mascarpone cream was the highlight. All this was accompanied by great wines from the superb cellar, a Torresella extra dry prosecco, and of course, a nod to the great Ernest Hemingway, a Valpolicella Ripasso DOC from Cecilia Beretta. A fantastic dinner that we will all treasure, in a unique location and with welcoming, professional, friendly, and empathetic staff. Thanks to all the staff and a well-deserved round of applause for the kitchen's skill. The price was very fair, €110.00 for two people, money truly well spent. A well-deserved 5 stars. Highly recommended. We can't wait to return.
