I chose the L'Ossidiana restaurant to celebrate an event and I can only give 5 stars for everything. Chef Salvatore Ficarra accompanied me in choosing the proposals to personalize the menu, proving to be extremely attentive to the customer's needs. Impeccable quality of food and service, elegant and well-kept location. Highly recommended for any occasion!

Lunch on 09/11/2024 local in the city center comfortable location large tables and comfortable seats. Clean and separate bathrooms. Friendly and professional staff. Triptych starter of marinated fish and then mushroom flan with fried prawns and fondue, both good. For first courses linguine with porcini mushrooms and agnolotti with bacon and hazelnuts, the latter being particularly good. The sautéed mushrooms are exceptional. And the swordfish chops. Little choice of desserts. Medium-high prices.

Last week while wandering around Messina, we stopped for lunch at the Ossidiana restaurant. Nice welcome, tidy and clean place. Precise and professional service. We were very satisfied, the raw materials were good, the fish was delicious. Delicate flavors. Very kind, professional and courteous. We recommend it. Compliments!

This Restaurant is really a hidden gem under-reviewed! Coming from a coastal city in Washington State US, my husband and I are blown away by how fresh and beautifully the red snapper (right off the boat from Messina's ocean) was salt roasted!! We ordered their Symphony of the Sea marinated Seafood, it's a superb dish! The chef is so warm and patient, with good English, and even presents us the fresh fish before it's roasted~just to make sure that the size Will be perfect for us. The service is excellent. Don't get misled by the low reviewers, you can only Trust your own experience.

A great place; the food exquisite. The attention was unbeatable even though we spoke English, Spanish and little Italian... hahahaha. The waiter is very friendly and decisive as is the waitress; willing to help.
