Ristorante L'orologio - Our favourite restaurant in our two weeks in Taormina, it’s in a great location in the corner of Piazza IX Aprile, with atmospheric seating arranged down a central stairway - the food & wine was really superb surpassed only by the warm and welcoming service- we were made to feel at home from day one and dinned there multiple times - a must visit for Taormina

Top restaurant! The service is really great, they go out of their way for your wishes. The location is great too, and the food and cocktails tasty too! If you are in Taormina I definitely recommend this place!!

The restaurant has tables on a patio but also on the steps leading down to the Piazza 9th of April. The tables on the steps are very cute, the red and white themed seats are unique, and it's a pleasant place to eat with a beautiful view of the ocean and the Piazza. The service is attentive. We had prosciutto and melon for an appetizer and it was very good. There were a lot of bees but the waiter did his best to get rid of them. We each just had a pasta, my wife spaghetti ragu and I had the pistachio shrimp salmon lasagna. We only ate about half of each entree which were not as tasty as we had hoped but I think it's at least partly because we weren't very hungry and the portions were large.

The location is amazing in the heart of Taormina. The staff is very nice and create a good vibe. The food was good, but since I’m a vegetarian I did not have much options.
