Delicious and well-executed dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, despite the fact that the bill can add up quickly. I highly recommend trying the tagliatelle with ragu; the simmered sauce is exquisite.

Such an authentic local restaurant run by the kindest man. The Florentine steak was absolutely mouthwatering. We had a side of potatoes which were also so good. Wrapped it up with the chocolate lava cake. And a couple of glasses of lemoncello. We were early for dinner so were able to spend time talking to the owner and shared some pictures from Canada. He was so gracious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The Florentine steak was amazing! My Italian is poor, but the owner was very patient, and with Google Translate, everything went smoothly. Great food and friendly service!

We had an absolutely amazing dinner here for our honeymoon. It was a Sunday evening and we were the only people in the restaurant. Our host was friendly and helpful and we had a wonderful meal. We ordered a steak fiorentina and as well as the steak, we were also given a starter each, two sides and limoncello. Everything was beautifully cooked and we had leftovers to take away. We also enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine, the creme brulee, and an excellent coffee. All in all, the best meal we've had in Italy

Small but well-kept place. The owner was very helpful to customers' needs and what can I say, we from Parma wanted to eat Fiorentina and I would say it was an excellent experience. Tender and delicious Fiorentina. Bravo!!! If I return to Florence I know where to eat an excellent Fiorentina.

A wonderful family restaurant. The food was very delicious and artistically presented. They also cooked to avoid my allergies and I truly appreciated that. I will go there again the next time I'm in Florence.

A cuisine made with heart and technicality, few and very well mastered dishes made to order. You won't find these differentiating dishes anywhere else. Go there with your eyes closed 😊

Carmine è uno degli ultimi ristoratori rimasti che cura ancora la qualità del cibo e la cura alle esigenze del cliente. Impossibile passare una serata spiacevole. Locale tranquillo, cortesia del personale, pasti ricercati e che solleticano il palato. Un punto di riferimento se volete provare qualcosa di buono e di ... stravagante.

17/03/2025: The staff has always been very kind. The food was simply excellent and of good quality. I give a few stars for the very ungenerous portions, at least as regards the side dishes. My daughters had asked for puree three times (because we are very happy to go back) and a measly mesolatina arrived.... I hope this criticism is constructive.

25/05/2025: We were walking down the street when the restaurant opened, and there were already about 50 people at the door, and it seemed like it would be a big event. Out of curiosity, we decided to go in and check it out, and even without a reservation, we were able to get a seat at the communal table. Sharing the meal with other people made the experience even more enjoyable, and we had a visit from Dário at the end of our lunch (he was very friendly). The meat was good — not unforgettable, but well prepared — and the menu we chose was generous: it included coffee, grappa, and dessert. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch, with good food, good conversation, and a lively atmosphere. A place worth visiting, especially if you enjoy experiences that go beyond the food.
25/05/2025: It's a very successful business, they give plenty of meat, it tastes great.
