We ate at this restaurant because we'd heard good things about it, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Delicious dishes, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended, for both first and second courses.

Very nice and welcoming place. It's not at all touristy, there are only a few dishes, but everything is delicious! The owner is very attentive to his customers. Definitely worth a try!

Lo Stravagante in Florence is an absolute highlight! The pasta is homemade and incredibly fresh – you can taste the attention to detail in every bite. The Filetto di Manzo is especially recommended: perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. A fantastic restaurant with excellent cuisine and a cozy atmosphere. Thank you :-)

Excellent food and service. Compliments to the Chef August 29, 2025 we returned to Lo Stravagante Restaurant. What a delicious eggplant flan and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms! SUPER. Excellent price. Highly recommended.

There weren't many people there, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely and delicious meal. The only thing I was disappointed about was that the owner only spoke Italian.

If you're coming to Italy and want to eat something authentic but think there aren't any more places like this in such touristy areas, you're wrong. At least one remains—and it's truly breathtaking. The owner is both waiter and chef, incredibly kind, hospitable, talented, and attentive. It's worth traveling halfway across Florence to this place, or even driving from another country. Seriously, I went to Italy for this experience. Delicious and unique. I'll remember it for a long time.
