Ristorante L'Essentiel da Andreone In Ayas

An experience of cordiality and excellent flavors! During our week-long vacation, we went there twice. The first time because we were convinced by the photos of the dishes, the second time because we had to return! We found no flaws (at least not ones worthy of note)! The menu was easy to understand, the specialty items were appetizing, the preparation was excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of their guests. We're not posting photos of the dishes because we didn't have time! Beautiful, artistic, delicious, plentiful, inviting, and fragrant. I'm posting this review with the hope that anyone passing through Champoluc who has the opportunity to stop for a meal can visit Andreone and his staff and have the same experience we did!

Excellent restaurant with particularly attentive and empathetic staff. We always dined in the restaurant for all three evenings spent in Champoluc always finding the possibility of appropriate choices both from the general menu and from the suggestions relating to the off-menu. Highly recommended.

Melhor comida em Champoluc. Comi uma carne fenômeno, atendimento FENÔMENO, todos MUITO simpáticos e agradáveis. Chegamos em 11 brasileiros fazendo barulho e geralmente somos destratados e mal recebidos. Atendimento 10, comida 10, tudo gostoso demais.

We ate well, but the waiter proposed a second course off the menu and another to replace the trout which was finished. We chose the two options proposed. It would have been pleasant and more respectful towards us customers to have an indication of the prices of what was offered.

Returning here after a couple of years it is better than ever . The menu is a combination of local and traditional Italian cuisine but with some imaginative twists . The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced and the service is excellent . The Risotto dish is one of the best I've tasted. Will hopefully return for another go before I leave. There is also a bar attached called "Sante2 offering great local bottled beers and cocktails
