Not because of the decades-long friendship that binds my wife and I to Andrea and his wife Micky, but Essentiel is always an absolute guarantee in Champoluc. Excellent menu complemented by an exceptional wine list. A special mention and thanks to the always professional and competent staff.

I went on holiday to Champoluc and since our hotel wasn't offering anything special during the August bank holiday we went to eat here for lunch and I had the sliced beef steak and it was delicious, the price was worth it, and my mum had the risotto with raw ham and melon, it was delicious, it felt like being in a starred restaurant from the way it was plated, congratulations

An experience of cordiality and excellent flavors!
During our week-long vacation, we went there twice. The first time because we were convinced by the photos of the dishes, the second time because we had to return!
We found no flaws (at least not ones worthy of note)!
The menu was easy to understand, the specialty items were appetizing, the preparation was excellent, and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of their guests.
We're not posting photos of the dishes because we didn't have time! Beautiful, artistic, delicious, plentiful, inviting, and fragrant.
I'm posting this review with the hope that anyone passing through Champoluc who has the opportunity to stop for a meal can visit Andreone and his staff and have the same experience we did!

Excellent restaurant with particularly attentive and empathetic staff. We always dined in the restaurant for all three evenings spent in Champoluc always finding the possibility of appropriate choices both from the general menu and from the suggestions relating to the off-menu. Highly recommended.
