Ristorante Leon d’Oro In Verona

The hotel is amazing, clean and a brilliant location. 20 minutes walk to city centre in a nice location. The room was spacious with good air conditioning, bathroom facilities and nice views of the hills. The front of the building has a river next to it and smoking area where you can drink. A nice spot to sit after a long walk. The hotel caters brilliantly for persons who are celiac, with separate foods and sealed cakes. My daughter was in heaven. All the staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. All food and drinks were reasonably priced and good quality. We would like to thank all the staff and management for our stay. The Hotel Leon D'Oro, Verona is amazing. It is about 15 to 20 minute's walk from the main square. On our arrival the staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked. During our stay one staff member stood out and went above and beyond to help to make us feel welcome. Her name was Precious and she was there to check us in for breakfast every morning. She was always happy and welcoming and went out of her way to help. We cannot Thank her enough for the kindness and consideration she showed to us and our daughter. The hotel breakfast buffet was delicious and consisted of cereals, berries, seeds, nuts, lots of fresh fruits, Yoghurts, meats, cheeses, a variety of pasties and tarts, bread and bread rolls, cooked breakfast, fruit juices and coffees and teas. My daughter has coeliac disease and they catered for her wonderfully. They brought out an assortment of gluten free items that were individually wrapped. We would like to Thank everyone for making our stay so memorable.

It needs a lot of maintenance, the reception chairs are stained, and the rooms need maintenance.

Very nice location, extraordinary breakfast. Verona city center is within walking distance.

Only drawback is the horrible coffee. All other things are good to exceptional.

The photo may not be appetizing, but I took it while I was eating it. The food was really good, with a large selection of cold cuts and meats, all at an acceptable, good standard. If you like eating fruit and drinking juice, you'll find something for yourself here too.
