Very nice central location, excellent hall, excellent breakfast, rooms a little dated especially with bathroom in need of renovation

Pro- pretty lobby. Cons: old, dirty, moldy. Uncomfortable mattress. Furniture with scratches and totally worn in areas. Across from train station about 15 min from center. Fine during day. Certainly would not walk at dark- need to go under an underpass and a bit sketchy area..

Beautiful, well-decorated hotel. Close to the bus and train station, for those who don't mind walking. We didn't have any problems with the air conditioning or the noise, as the reviews suggest; I didn't hear anything from the room. Breakfast had many options. Some staff were very polite, except the breakfast lady was a bit unfriendly. What really left something to be desired was the bathroom, which leaked water from the toilet and made everything smelly. Barefoot in there was out of the question! The high bathtub had no handrail. It was quite dangerous for our grandfather, who was with us, as there was no support whatsoever. The bathtub was clogged; even after removing the seat, it would fill itself.

Very nice. Stayed here 5 nights in July. Peak season. Beautiful hotel. Don't understand some reviews complaining about furnishings etc in lobby. Place is very well appointed. I had an air conditioned room on 4th floor that was spotlessly clean with a fab bathroom. Breakfast is more than fine. Plenty selection. It's busy but plenty of seating and very comfortable. The lady who checks you in for breakfast most mornings deserves a particular mention, such a friendly, welcoming person. Fabulous. Great hotel, couldn't fault. Just over a 1km stroll to the Arena and maybe 500m to train station. Location is fine for anyone who can walk a little. Footpaths all the way

I stayed at the Hotel Leon d'Oro in Verona during a stop on this year's tour. The property is very large with spacious rooms. The hotel is well-maintained and only needs a few updates. For example, the window in my room, located near the street, wasn't particularly well-insulated, and I could hear noise from the nearby road. The hotel isn't close to the city center, which is easily accessible by car. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom elegant with a large shower and quality toiletries. The staff was friendly and professional, always available for advice and directions. There is a private parking lot, accessed with a ticket issued at reception. The breakfast was good, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options, given its international clientele.

Wonderful and comfortable place to enjoy Verona by walking, great rooms (require a bit of renovation), very friendly and polite staff! Would come back again!

Nice hotel, but dated rooms that need updating. The shower wasn't great, small and uncomfortable. Photos of the garden are much smaller, and the location isn't the best. The breakfast was good and complete. I expected something more.

The hotel is located close to the train station, which is a plus. The rooms are comfortable but need renovation to meet current standards. The room was clean but not perfect for a 4-star hotel. There was quite a bit of dust on the furniture. The Wi-Fi was unusable.

La recensione precedente mi aveva messo paura,ma ho fatto benissimo a non fidarmi! Cibo ottimo e presentato bene. Il personale di sala è cortese e attento. Le porzioni sono oneste. Onestamente trovo la recensione che offende la struttura scortese, poco veritiera e assolutamente da rimuovere. Nel complesso una cena ottima.
