I started with fish, meat and vegetable appetizers. Then 2 appetizers, a first course, a second course, pre dessert and dessert and a tasting of paired wines. Plus great coffee. The place is in the centre: an old barn with a mezzanine, with public parking a few meters away. It offers refined traditional dishes from the Aosta Valley area, up to dishes with an international touch. Excellent wine list and carefully chosen pairings.

The fame of the restaurant has been confirmed and remains one of the best in the area. The menu offers a wide choice of different types of dishes, mostly gourmet, without neglecting the tradition of the area. Worth highlighting is the truly well-stocked wine list. The friendly and helpful staff and the suggestive location being an ancient barn. The bill was in line with the restaurant (dinner with 3 courses, drinks and coffee around €85 each) and I certainly found it more honest than the restaurants I tried in the area taking into account the medium-high level of the restaurant. Always the first choice in the area!

Not a simple dinner at a restaurant but a real experience! The place is very beautiful and original, with a suggestive atmosphere. Impeccable service and refined dishes. I recommend it, a restaurant you absolutely must try!

Cadre magnifique, accueil fantastique, plats succulents et généreux. Fin et savoureux, de l'anguille au millefeuille en passant par la fabuleuse assiette de chevreuil à la betterave rouge, le tout accompagné de très beaux vins avec l'accord... on ressort à nouveau enchantés de notre visite au Grenier! Bravo et merci pour l'accueil.

Venerdi sera abbiamo prenotato una cena per 4 persone e nonostante il ristorante fosse pieno la proprietaria ci ha gentilmente assicurato un bel tavolo appena al di fuori dalla sala principale. In realtà abbiamo prenotato senza renderci conto della natura gastronomica del ristorante e quando ci siamo seduti al tavolo ci siamo purtroppo resi conto che il menu proposto era troppo raffinato per essere apprezzato dalle 2 teenager nostre ospiti. Nonostante un certo imbarazzo, per evitare malumori in famiglia abbiamo deciso di non rimanere. Pur essendo disposti a compensare in qualche misura il ristorante e nonostante a quel punto fosse molto difficile sostituirci come clienti, la ristoratrice si è dimostrata molto accomodante e comprensiva e non ha voluto nulla. Credo questa sia stata una bellissima dimostrazione di attenzione al cliente di cui ringraziamo la ristoratrice, certamente ritorneremo in questo ristorante senza teenager al seguito, sempre che la proprietaria ci accetti… :-)

22/07/2024: A pleasant surprise, clean restaurant, excellent cuisine, freshly cooked dishes, very young and customer-oriented staff and owners. Tagliatelle with mushrooms and cream or with speck and saffron, homemade and cooked to perfection. Simple but very tasty desserts. In the kitchen, one of the two owner brothers boasts long experience in the kitchens of the Four Seasons around the world, in the dining room the other brother is one step away from becoming a sommelier, who manages contact with the customer with intelligence, discretion and a lot of professionalism. In short, the 5 rating is not given as a gift, but earned on the field. We highly recommend a stop for those coming down from Valtournenche or for those who want to enjoy the cool of the very pleasant Antey. And don't be misled by old reviews. The guys have taken over management since December 2023 and all the comments since that date are super positive. We will definitely return, with our brothers-in-law and daughter. Thank you, you are an example of entrepreneurship to be rewarded.
