Amazing restaurant in a beautiful location, with super friendly staff and an innovative kitchen.
The view is perfect which is why I don’t understand why it strictly (!) only opens at 19:30 — any decent entrepreneur would sell an aperitif from 6pm onwards on the beautiful balcony outside for people to enjoy the sunset (which otherwise will have happened already when you start your meal).
There were tiny issues with the service (for instance they brought a beef butter to a completely vegetarian table, only to take it away and not replacing it with something vegetarian instead, and a couple next to us was waiting for having their wine with their food) but all in all the service was impeccable otherwise and I would have loved to give a tip unless these sneaky corporate people in the finance department wouldn’t have already built that tip into my bill, at which time and out of principle I crossed it out! I would have voluntarily given more than the „suggested tip“ if you hadn’t kinda forced my hands on it. I guess few people realize it so mathematically they end up with more, but not in style!
Apropos style: the worst part of this restaurant is the music. The manager swore he couldn’t change the music or turn it down. Guys. We are in the 21st century. Forcing the same tasteless and unnecessary loud music on all people who have a very different and highly individualized dining experiences is just unprofessional and quite frankly costs you a star. If the CEO of the hotel can’t fix that, I‘m sorry for him (or her) as this is a matter of willingness only, everything else is an excuse.

What can I say... a wonderful experience!
We chose this place for my birthday dinner.
Every detail was taken care of, from the table settings to the service, which was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive.
The dishes were all excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and the execution of a small birthday cake.
They were happy to accommodate every request (even to prepare a risotto for just one person).
The location and the view were a real plus.
Highly recommended.

Amazing experience, great view, amazing food and service. By the end of the set we were so full that couldn’t accept the chefs compliment. So if you doubt that high cousin dishes will fill you up - don’t worry :)

Excellence in cuisine and a breathtaking view, an unforgettable experience. We dined at Le Cupole Restaurant on a summer evening and were thrilled. The dinner was a symphony of flavors: the seafood appetizers were a triumph of freshness (especially the red tuna with bottarga and the purple shrimp paired with prescinseua and basil), well explained by the staff and served with great attention.

Unfortunately, we chose the large surprise menu. At the end of the evening, it felt as if the kitchen was checking what other tables were ordering and giving us another portion. The food was beautifully presented and, of course, fine for a restaurant of this quality, but nothing more. There was no wow factor.
The service wasn't worthy of a Michelin star:
- We waited 1.5 hours for the first course, and the restaurant wasn't full.
- We weren't informed how many courses and what type of courses the surprise menu would consist of. Of the seven courses, we had four fish and one meat. The small meat course was sandwiched between two fish courses. (!?)
- The wine was very good, but couldn't be coordinated with the other courses. We didn't expect more fish to follow the meat course.
- We never saw the chef at our table the entire evening.
All in all, the restaurant scores highly with its magnificent view and ambience.
So far the worst of the restaurants we have visited.

First of all, location is fantastic. What a view and a nice breeze on a warm summer night. However, the food, although it looks good, just missed the spot. Most dishes had too much going on and flavors just did not work. This was a shame, because they used beautiful ingredients like wagyu A4. As for the staff, they were kind but nothing went smoothly. Always placed the plates at the wrong person, water bottles were brought to wrong tables etc. It just came across unprofessionally. If you want to enjoy the view, this is a good place to go, but don’t expect great food.

Ho vissuto un’esperienza gastronomica davvero eccezionale. Ogni piatto era curato nei minimi dettagli, con abbinamenti di sapori equilibrati e presentazioni raffinate che esaltavano la qualità delle materie prime. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: attento, discreto e sempre cordiale. L’atmosfera del locale è elegante e accogliente, perfetta per una serata speciale. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chi desidera un’esperienza culinaria memorabile.

Ristorante situato nel piano attico dell'Hotel Bristol di Rapallo. Ambiente molto raffinato con una sbalorditiva vista sul golfo del Tigullio da Rapallo a Portofino. Personale di scuola alberghiera giovane e preparatissimo. Cucina completamente fuori daCUCINA qualsiasi schema usuale. Ogni piatto che viene ordinato viene servito con una miriade di altri piccoli assaggi che lasciano stupefatti per le molteplici complicazioni di ingredienti. Personalmente lo abbiamo trovato ristorante da grandi occasioni per una utenza di fascia molto elevata che desidera esperienze gastronomiche inusuali. Tutto perfetto, ma da ripetere a lunga distanza. Prezzo molto elevato ma giustificabile poiché lo chef esegue più una scultura che un piatto.
