A top Sunday lunch in historic Ceglie. What can I say? Extremely friendly staff, a warm and helpful owner, and food to die for. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience traditional cuisine in Ceglie. I'd love to go back!!!

Everything is spectacular. If you're passing through Ceglie, it's a must-see! I recommend the mixed antipasto and then the orecchiette with braciole sauce. Everything is delicious!

If you want to eat homemade and quality food, L'Antico Arco is the right place.

Lovely find on a rainy evening in the maze like old town of Messapica when nothing else was open. We saw lights on and a woman (presumably the owner) sweeping rainwater away from the doorway. We asked her if they were open and she relied “Dieci minuti”. Then she gestured us to come in and wait inside out of the rain. The place was warm and homey, and we were politely greeted by the busboy, who brought us water, wine and some homemade taralli to munch on. At 7 o’clock, opening time, the waiter (presumably the son) took our order and the food arrived promptly thereafter. Our appetizers, meatballs and Caprese salad, were generous and delicious. Two pasta dishes, both also yummy and well portioned, followed along with some sautéed chicory and a mixed salad. We were stuffed, and my partner wasn’t feeling well, so we skipped dessert. They offered us complementary Limoncello. I politely refused, stating that we had to leave and I asked for directions back to where we had parked the car. Not only did he pour me a cup of limoncello to go, he also walked us practically all the way to the parking area. Such a warm and inviting experience on top of great food and very reasonable prices. This is hospitality…And I should add, earlier when I was trying to figure out the parking meter, a local resident assisted me, and since I didn’t have any coins, he paid for my parking!

Loved its simple authenticity, ambiance and most of all The Food!

A landmark in the history of traditional cuisine. Dishes are always fresh, authentic, and delicious. An immersive experience in local gastronomy. Fantastic in the summer, with outdoor seating; in the winter, it suffers a bit from the cramped, otherwise very typical, space, but where it's not uncommon to find patrons—even worse, large families or groups—who have no understanding of respect for others and disrupt the atmosphere with their deafening voices. Otherwise... FANTASTIC.

A beautiful, characteristic place in the center of Ceglie; reservations recommended. There's a long wait for your order; good quality local food. Recommended.

We spent a Sunday with friends at this trattoria... Abundant, excellent food...with kind and helpful staff, thanks to Domenico, his wife, and all the employees.
