We had very pleasant dinner here, the service was great and athmosphere lovely, with a great view. Food was great, but perhaps hoped for stronger flavours. Big recommendation for this place though!

Hotel is great if you have a lake facing room. Restaurant breakfast is very nice.

Pretty disappointing after a good experience 10 years ago.
Service was very slow and mixed all evening. 15-20 minutes to take a drinks order then 90 minutes after arriving to receive mains.
Salmon was good but need something else to accompany the 2 sauces.... It was all a bit sloppy...
Pasta dishes (vegan and beef gnocchi) were hugely different in size - albeit both were good.
Creme brulee dessert was terrible - very grainy/almost scrambled - really should have sent it back.
View from the terrace is fantastic but very mediocre service and mixed food let it down.

The appetizer, risotto and dessert chosen were delicious and delicate, not even noticeable in the digestion, therefore of true quality! Breathtaking location. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant, ...overlooking the lake in Varenna, a splendid terrace at the top, where you can eat and enjoy an incredible view of Lake Como, prices a little expensive, but justified by the location and the service offered.

Outstanding restaurant a gem of meal choices, fairrly wine and dish prices. With a family of four adults we opted for 3 me a look choices at fixed price and paired our food choices with house wine from Valtellina a combination of Nebbiolo and Barbera wines. Recommend the culatello and burrata as appetizer, the risotto mantecato at pistacchio, the gnocchi and the carrot soup. Service is impeccable and the view is the name of the restaurant.. if you want your dinner to be a unique and unforgettable experience you hit the mark of 5+ stars at this restaurant.

È un posto magico, in centro a Varenna ma fuori dal caos. La terrazza è un'oasi di bellezza, gusto, relax, buona cucina e vista fantastica.
I coperti non sono tanti e questo garantisce quella pace, quella convivialità piacevole.
Il personale è molto accogliente e cortese.
Molto interessanti le proposte del menù. Ci sono anche varianti del giorno. Posso valutare quello che abbiamo ordinato noi: ottime le tartare e il polpo fra gli antipasti,
le costolette d'agnello e i filetti di pesce persico. Dolci: assolutamente da provare la CABOSSA: la loro mousse al cioccolato servita con purea di lamponi.
Il conto è alto ma è ben speso.
