Beautiful restaurant for dinner. Views were gorgeous. Had plenty of gluten free options. Was incredible!

Dreamy view of a magnificent sunset from the terrace. The service is attentive. Delicious meal including a fabulous gluten-free tiramisu that everyone loved. I recommend it!

The only restaurant I can recommend in mid-range-price in Italy. After many overpriced or just mediocre-taste places we finally left satisfied.

After a challenging journey to Italy, dinner at La Vista Ristorante was exactly what we needed — a perfect evening that made all the travel troubles worthwhile. The restaurant’s renowned sunset views over the mountains live up to their reputation. The lighting creates a magical atmosphere, and the peaceful lakeside setting is truly breathtaking. Beyond the spectacular views, the food is outstanding. Standout dishes included the cod ravioli with yogurt wasabi, the salmon confit, and the chocolate mousse — each expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal, and they graciously accommodated our request to modify our reservation when we were delayed getting into town. I highly recommend La Vista Ristorante for anyone visiting Lake Como. It’s an essential dining experience that perfectly complements a weekend on the lake.

This is a fantastic restaurant. My family of five (3 children) stumbled upon it and dropped in later in the evening 9pm-ish on a Friday, not necessarily expecting to be able to be seated, if at all. They were very accommodating snd seated us right away and took care of us like we were family. The views from this terrace are nothing short of spectacular. The sunsets are amazing. And on top of that the quality of the food is fantastic. If you want to spend less money and “people watch” and have it be loud, there are plenty of other restaurants right along the lake in Varenna. They have their place too. Don’t get me wrong. However, If you wanna slow down a bit, have very delicious and high-quality food, have amazing views, and a bit quieter conversations, slower pace, this place is your place. During your visit, pick a night, and get dressed up and come to this place. I don’t know, but I don’t believe there’s any other place in Varenna that have a 360 degree patio and a view like this one does. Entire staff were super friendly, the owner was very involved and clearly cares deeply about this place. Would highly recommend adding this into your rotation, expect to spend a little bit more, and you will get a lot more from it. This restaurant is a microcosm of the reason you chose to come to Varenna and Lake Como for vacation. Come dressed up, not for the judgment of other people here, no not at all, but for yourself to have a more meaningful meal with your friends and family.

La vista es un 5 pero tristemente esta vez la comida fue decepcionante. Mi esposo y yo hemos tenido cenas especiales en Vista Milano dos veces antes en 2018 y 2021 y en ambas ocasiones toda la experiencia fue increíble, sin embargo, esta vez la comida en general no fue muy buena. Goma Pulpo, el risotto en salsa de perejil era demasiado de un sabor fuerte y servida fría, el pescado era soso y también servida fría, y el servicio era justo. No es la experiencia que estábamos esperando en esta visita de regreso.

Hermosas vistas en la terraza, y mantas encantadoras para mantenernos acogedores mientras el sol se pone sobre el lago y las montañas. Tenemos la cena de tres platos, y todo fue excelente. El aperitivo de crostona, mousse de chocolate, y crema brûlée eran, en particular, fantástico, y todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. ¿Nuestro único punto negativo es que pensamos que nuestros platos principales se perdieron / olvidaron? Hubo más de dos horas entre cuando recibimos nuestros aperitivos y cuando salimos de los platos principales, durante las cuales cada otra mesa a nuestro alrededor había recibido y terminado su comida. Creemos que solo había algunas mesas más exigentes, y así es como nos deslizamos a través de las grietas. Aun así, la comida era deliciosa y la vista era inmejorable.
