I visited La Griglia in San Gimignano and was very satisfied. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and helpful. The typical local dishes are carefully prepared and have an authentic flavor; I recommend the pasta with ragù and the steak, which was really well cooked. I also found the quality/price ratio to be good for the area. I will definitely return when I pass through San Gimignano.

Centrally located. Tables with windows overlooking the Tuscan hills. A plate of delicious, high-quality Tuscan cured meats. The wild boar pasta is plentiful and delicious. The house wine is good.

We went for lunch, and the welcome was the first positive aspect we noticed, not to mention the typical Tuscan cuisine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend it 100%.

11/01/2026: We stopped in for a quick lunch. There wasn't anyone to seat us, and it felt like we walked in on a private event. The dining room is very much like a dining hall with no windows. It was very warm and cozy on a cold, snowy day.
