The food is nothing out of this world. That they charge you €12 per cover (2 children and 2 adults ate) seems outrageous to me. Especially because we didn't try the bread, nor did we ask for it.

Excellent food and staff very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our meal. The Filetto Pepe Verde was excellent as was everything else Much nicer place than the view from the road suggests

Guardando il sito ho deciso di cenare con mio marito in questo locale il 31 Dicembre, nonostante non sia certo un ristorante abbastanza economico, siamo rimasti veramente molto soddisfatti e siamo ritornati a mangiare anche il 1° Gennaio, complimenti sinceri.

Me gustó tanto la comida que vine aquí dos veces mientras estaba en San Gimignano. A poca distancia de mi hotel justo en el centro de la ciudad amurallada. Risotto de mariscos es excelente. Buena elección de vino y no te saltes los Profiteroles de postre. Excelente servicio. Creo que el propietario era nuestro servidor ambas noches y ella era maravillosa!

Bar Dante

23/05/2025: We've enjoyed a very pleasant dinner at Bar Dante Alighieri! The staff was very enthusiastic and willing to help us quickly and professional. The risotto, lasagne, and fitting Barlettaio wine were amazing. Thank you for having us. We would certainly recommend this to anyone!
22/05/2025: For the past 25 years, my first stop after arriving in Tuscany has always been Bar Dante in Radda. Even under the previous owners, the portions (I always have pappardelle with wild boar ragù, a mixed salad, and a glass of rosé wine) had become smaller. When I went there this year on May 1, 2025, the old owners were no longer there. They'd sold, the new owner told me. I ordered the usual fare, but surprise: the plates were larger (large rim, small hollow), but the portions were slightly smaller, both for the pappardelle and the salad. The prices have remained the same, as has the quality. But that was still the last time!
