We discovered the Uhrigs Restaurant by chance and were thrilled! A warm, slightly older team 😅 that carries on with a lot of passion, and excellent food. Particularly nice: a quick look into the impeccably clean kitchen and a quick look at Nonna while she was cooking 🥰 Clear recommendation!!

A blast from the past... everything was good, the aubergines were spectacular... an honest account.

Overall, pretty good. The fried calamari was made fresh which was delightful however it was extremely salty, honestly it didn't need any salt. I requested tomato sauce to dip it in and the older gentleman gave me a funny look like I was asking for something strange. Do people in Italy not use any sort of dipping sauce? If they don't, they're missing out. He did however bring the tomato sauce shortly after and it was by far some of the best I've ever tasted - should be part of the menu. This continued with the veal, it was just a piece of meat on a plate. Not sure why there wouldn't be anything to dip it in but here we are. The pasta was good, different type of tomato sauce, less intense is the best way to describe it from the side dish I got. The line of chairs to the single bathrooms is interesting, but I guess this place doesn't get too busy due to the staggered hours of operation.
