La Battigia was a fantastic find for lunch today! The catch of the day was incredibly fresh and delicious, cooked to perfection. The ambience was charming, and the staff was warm and attentive. I’ll definitely be back!

Dinner for two. Cozy, quiet, elegant place. Friendly staff and
Prepared. Excellent fish counter. We had starters with good raw meats, with good accompanying bread. The best thing was certainly the baked fish with potatoes and olives as a second course, excellently paired with Apulian white wine. Very interesting they return to berries as a sweet and appropriate nut as a digestive. Prices appropriate to the quality

Let's start with the service which did not live up to our expectations: a second course was forgotten, dishes on the menu which turned out not to be there when the order was placed, a very hasty waitress.
The mixed fried food was good, the raw seafood appetizer without too much enthusiasm. The first courses: cavatelli with seafood, anonymous without a dip in the sea as we hoped.
A good crème brulée.
No wine.

Table on the external veranda, near the comings and goings of the waiters and the cold air.
All very overrated, we won't be back.

No reservation on Sunday and was seated at the bar. The staff couldn’t have been nicer to me. Had the raw fish plate and fried anchovies.
Excellent!
I read the bad reviews and couldn’t disagree more. They must pick up on your attitude and you get what you exude! Karma.
They kept bringing me wine and extras.
After 3 weeks traveling this was a fantastic way to end the trip.
The waiter prepared my raw dishes for me and it was so tasty with his attention to detail.

Peccato.
Locale davvero bello, personale gentilissimo e attento , ma i piatti nulla di che.
Qualità del pesce top ma piatti cucinati privi di sapore.
Buono il dolce e la spianata.
Piccolo consiglio: cercate di migliorare un po’ la cucina perché a mio avviso è davvero un gran peccato.
Il locale merita ma il cibo meno.
Ultimo appunto: cercate di evitare di posizionare un tavolo davanti un uscita di emergenza.

Questo locale ormai per noi una conferma e un piacere infatti ritorniamo ogni volta che siamo a Bari. Pesce freschissimo ottima varietà di pescato per chi adora il crudo potete degustare qualcosa di veramente indimenticabile. Buona varietà di vini e liquori e tanta gentilezza da parte del personale in sala.
