I chose this place for my birthday dinner, and I couldn't have made a better choice! We sat outside, where we could enjoy the splendid seaside setting that perfectly frames the restaurant, and I can honestly say I enjoyed one of the best dinners ever! Excellent ingredients and truly exquisite dishes, and, last but not least, truly unexpected service, accompanied by such helpfulness and kindness. A truly unique place. A birthday I'll never forget.

Great location and staff, quality fish, but the cooking leaves much to be desired and the portion sizes are a shame. The red mullet risotto (€25) was very disappointing; it was tasteless, full of bones and scales, and no red mullet was served.

We came for dinner at this restaurant, which was recommended to us, and we're delighted we did. There's a wide selection of seafood, but other dishes are also available, including meat and other dishes. Added to this, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the setting is warm and inviting. A wonderful discovery!

A very chic seafood restaurant with excellent service. The fish and seafood are so fresh that everything is also served raw. This comes at a price, of course, but the food is worth it.

We arrived at this fantastic restaurant straight from Turin's airport... the best fried seafood I've ever eaten... accompanied by excellent service in a classy and refined setting... compliments to the dining room staff who, in addition to their professionalism, are friendly and courteous... well done everyone!

Recensione – Ristorante La Battigia, Bari Siamo arrivati al Ristorante La Battigia quasi per caso, dopo alcuni tentativi falliti in altri locali chiusi o al completo. E alla fine… meglio così! È stata una scoperta che ci ha lasciati estremamente soddisfatti. Il locale si trova in una zona defilata ma affacciata direttamente sul mare, in uno dei quartieri più belli di Bari, comunque molto vicino al centro storico. Appena entrati, l’atmosfera ci ha colpiti: arredamento elegante, curato, con un tocco di lusso sobrio che crea il contesto perfetto per una cena speciale. Eravamo in 10 persone, tra adulti e bambini, e ci hanno accolti con grande disponibilità, senza alcun problema. Servizio rapido ed efficiente, con 2-3 camerieri sempre attenti e gentili. Il menù è esclusivamente di pesce fresco, cucinato in modo creativo ma senza eccessi. Per i bimbi, con grande flessibilità, ci hanno preparato pennette al pomodoro e prosciutto con mozzarella, mentre noi adulti abbiamo assaggiato piatti davvero eccellenti: – Risotto ai frutti di mare, – Ravioli ripieni di burrata con sugo e tartare di gamberi, – una frittura mista ben eseguita, croccante e asciutta. Unica nota un po’ sotto tono: il piatto di pesce e patate alla barese, che non ha raggiunto il livello degli altri piatti. Prezzi leggermente sopra la media, ma pienamente giustificati dalla qualità dei prodotti, dalla location e dal servizio. Un ristorante da segnare assolutamente per chi cerca una cucina di mare autentica e raffinata, in un ambiente elegante, con il mare a due passi. Ci torneremo volentieri.
