We had the fish soup. We shared a portion, which was enough for us. The food was excellent, and the homemade bread was delicious. The only thing that made me give it a lower rating was the service. The guy seemed a bit pushy, but maybe because we were the only ones in the dining room... but it wasn't a big deal. In any case, I highly recommend it; if I ever come back to Porto Azzurro, I'll definitely be back!

We decided to eat here for their fish soup: I have to say, we didn't regret it. It's truly delicious. We split a portion, and it was more than enough; the portion is quite generous. The place is clean and very tidy. Highly recommended for fish soup!

The first courses are good, but the reason I'll return to this restaurant is the fish soup: sensational! NB: Reservations must be made at least 4 hours in advance.

We came across this restaurant for a fish-based dinner. Even though it was late, we managed to find a free table. The place was not very crowded and very intimate, one floor below the pavement level (watch your head if you are too tall). The service was quick and the quality of the fish was excellent, even if the plating was not very aesthetic. Three stars for the food because they could have used a little more fish as a condiment for the spaghetti.

We stayed in Porto Azzurro for 5 days and we went to different places for dinner but in the end we were personally very impressed by their very traditional cuisine, where you can feel the passion of those who make the dishes. Recommended the fish soups, which is their specialty.

Ristorante situato a un livello inferiore rispetto al piano stradale: occorrerebbe renderlo più visibile! A conduzione familiare: marito e moglie cordiali, affabili e attenti. Portate buone ed abbondanti. La zuppetta di moscardini è veramente gustosa. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo consigliamo!

19/05/2025: Ambiente raffinato pur senza fronzoli. Ottima cucina con piatti curati e prodotti provenienti dalla loro azienda agricola. Servizio attento e discreto. Ottima carta dei vini serviti anche al bicchiere per cambiare secondo il piatto. Dalla vetrata o dal portico si gode di un panorama molto bello ma alla sera, al tramonto sul mare è stupendo. Al momento del conto(forse perché avevamo comprato dell'olio) ci hanno regalato un profumatore alla lavanda, una gradita gentilezza in più.
22/04/2025: Proviamo a contattare l'osteria per la cena di Pasquetta incuriositi dagli ottimi riscontri ricevuti , ma essendo un gruppo numeroso di circa venti persone il titolare non garantisce nulla....ma nonostante tutto e dopo vari tentativi veniamo gentilmente accontentati!!! Il posto è situato sulla collina di San Vincenzo e gode di una vista incantevole. Locale molto caratteristico e ben curato, cucina di ottima qualità così come le materie prime (Fiorentinaspettacolare) . Cantina veramente ben fornita. Personale molto gentile e disponibile così come Alessio (il titolare) un vero Oste!!! Grazie e bravi davvero! Da provare sicuramente se ci si trova in zona.

20/08/2025: WELCOME to ELBA 😊 What I like about Elba is the fact that it doesn't want to resemble something else and wants to remain just... Elba. This thing, in a world increasingly flattened by globalization, is increasingly important to me every year, which is why, when we get off the ferry with the motorbike, the first stop is here, for the first island snack, a moment that gives us the feeling of having arrived "home", in a land that is still human and real 😁 Here we always tasted the special of the day and whether it was a hot soup or a lasagna or a special schiacciata, we were always satisfied with the quality and tradition in the preparations, even the simplest ones. And after a chat with the owners over a good coffee and an apple and cinnamon dessert... here we are ready to leave for our new Elba holiday 😁 Alessandra and Francesca, stay like this forever and, if you can, I beg you, open on Sunday mornings too 😁🙏
24/05/2025: Really nice place with fair prices and nice people. Great for snacks but also with some tables if you want to sit and eat something from the buffet. They also sell pretty good bakery products.
