Ristorante Il Sorriso In Roma

I had dinner at this restaurant. What can I say? I was very satisfied!!! The owners were very kind; they even advised us where to park our car, as there were no more spaces. The dishes were excellent, the fish was fresh. What can I say? I'll gladly return!

Discovered through friends - it's located on a quiet street in Prima Porta. It looks more like an inn, not modern but rather old-fashioned - it still has the sign with the phone number without the area code. Roman pizza (I'm not particularly fond of it), I have to say I was surprised, it stays quite soft. Very large pizza, I struggled to finish it, I took it home and the next day it was still good for a Roman pizza!!! Very well topped and with good ingredients! The waiters are very kind. Prices are a little high for the area, but in the end, considering the quality and taste, I have to say they're okay. I'll definitely return. - They have a small private parking lot, but on weekends it's better to opt for street parking. I recommend finding parking a few minutes' walk away; there's very little parking in front of the restaurant.

We didn't understand why there were half portions on the menu... 12 euros for a portion of tagliolini allo scoglio, divided into 2 large plates for my wife and 3 for me... and I couldn't finish them all. Excellent quality of fish, nothing to envy to more renowned ultra expensive restaurants... you need a navigator to get there but you won't regret it. Unfortunately I didn't take the second course because I was full, but we took 3 exceptional tiramisu'. 40 euros for an excellent pizza margherita for the child, a first course that we shared, 2 waters and 3 tiramisu'

I have been going to Sorriso for many years. Pietro&Anna are very kind and courteous. The food is excellent, both the menu and the pizza. I love the lobster luinguine at Pietro's....amazing and all the fish is very fresh and that's not cheap...!!! savino
