Ristorante il Punto di Simone In Pistoia

We stopped at this restaurant while passing through, but we were so happy. We had the cacio e pepe pici with shrimp and the desserts of the day: filo pastry with cream and tortelli made with chestnut flour and ricotta cream... what can I say? Everything was spectacular. The very kind and friendly owner even let us try the mascarpone cream with brigidini... speechless... simple but delicious... it's a shame we're from Turin, and it's a bit inconvenient to travel all the way to Pistoia for dinner, but we've already promised ourselves that we'll definitely stop here this spring on our motorcycles... it's definitely worth it. Congratulations!

Cozy Restaurant with an Interesting Menu A cozy place with plenty of room and a narrow but intriguing menu. I tried Trippa alla Fiorentina for the first time — and I actually liked it! The Chinese say you should eat the same part of the animal that corresponds to the part of your body having trouble. A few days ago, I had some serious stomach issues, so I decided to follow that wisdom. My stomach seemed to agree — calm and working well afterward! That said, the dish wasn’t entirely new to me — in Polish cuisine, tripe soup is also quite popular. The only real challenge here: finding a place to park. But once you’re inside, it’s definitely worth it.
