Fantastic…excellent! An experience that will be remembered

We had dinner tonight with friends, excellent raw materials, excellent chef, equally excellent service. What struck me most was the idyllic aroma of the raw products, very fresh and also very carefully presented. Generous portions. Relaxed, comfortable environment and lots of kindness. It will certainly become my favorite place to eat fish from now on. Highly recommended.

Visitando il suggestivo paesaggio dannunziano ci siamo fermati in questo bel locale. L’ambiente è piacevole, il personale è gentile. I piatti serviti, tutti a base di pesce, sono stati preparati secondo la tradizione marinara locale, con delicatezza ma, soprattutto, esaltando i sapori ed i profumi. Abbiamo abbinato un ottimo vino locale. Consigliatissimo.

Excellent fish restaurant. Simple and genuine cuisine! Fresh and tasty fish! Great selection of wines. Spacious, modern and clean room. There is also a covered outdoor veranda, but as we went in winter we were unable to use it. Everything we ate was great! Average prices for local fish restaurants.

Today to celebrate my wife's birthday I decided to look for a place to eat a good fish soup. Knowing how to disentangle real and fake reviews well, I immediately noticed that the last two pages of reviews of this restaurant were almost all 5 stars, apart from reviews with one star of differently intelligent Canarian fanatics who had been banned from entering the loppide. I trusted my instincts and left Pescara towards Costa dei Trabocchi and booked for two, informing the owner in advance that we would be ordering two broths. The location is wonderful, on top of a promontory with a sea view. I parked a meter from the entrance. Superlative broth thanks to a delicious sauce, including many varieties of fish and some shellfish (mussels and clams which are never displeasing). At the end we were also brought 150 grams of pasta to season with the remaining sauce from the broth, to make us leave full and satisfied. Fair price: 2 broths (+ pasta), a glass of rosé wine, bottle of water, lemon sorbet 75 euros. Also worth highlighting is the attention to subtleties: toasted bread and al dente pasta. One final consideration towards those 4 poor things who were squawking in the previous comments: I feel sorry for you! Rushing home to make a negative comment because in a restaurant where there are several no-entry signs for dogs, you wanted to impose the same on yourself, not giving a damn about the rules of the place! Ask first, right? Leaving aside the fact that they talked about toy dogs, that they compared dogs to children and that the owner's wishes didn't matter to any of these, it makes me think how much little there is around and how much damage the main stream has done to the cerebellum, often already lacking in its own right, to many people. Well, with me your starlet was of little use, in fact it had the opposite effect :-) and thank you for letting me discover this place, quiet, with great attention to hygiene and where you can eat good fish. I will definitely come back to try appetizers, fried food and more, even if the temptation to order the broth will be felt...

Restaurant located near the Dannunziano Promontory where you can enjoy a beautiful view...we ordered as an appetizer...mixed stew, nothing special...stuffed mussels, you can only taste the cheese, to be avoided...then the little guitar mixed seafood, no flavour...then mixed grilled, not abundant but good...mixed fried, not abundant, well cooked, good flavour. Good service, average prices. Maybe a bad day for starters and first courses, better for second courses.

Nella costa dei trabocchi i ristoranti non mancano e sicuramente validi. Qui al Promontorio il pescato del giorno viene trattato con delicatezza e sapienza esaltando sapori, consistenze, profumi. Un menù intrigante, porzioni soddisfacenti, ottimi vini del territorio e un servizio impeccabile.

The restaurant is facing the crazy view of the Dannunziano promontory. This is why I always thought it was a bit touristy, even if it rarely happens in Abruzzo. Instead, on the occasion of a party, I ate here for lunch and I must say that if I could give more than 5 stars I would. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The dishes are fresh, refined, delicious, with generous portions. I would go back a thousand times!! Compliments!

It was recommended to us by a friend who has been frequenting the Costa dei Trabocchi for years, I must say excellent advice! Dinner for 4 people....4 excellent gnocchi with scampi bisque, 2 superlative grills, 3 coffees and a bottle of Cerasuolo, all served with kindness. Well done!

Well what can I say, opening at 7.45pm but we were invited to wait outside until 8.15pm instead he could have let us in bring some water and wait, this is called welcoming.... it wasn't possible to let the dog in because he isn't welcome, during the service they forgot to serve a French fry.... at the end of the service we were not asked, as good manners dictates, how the dinner went, whether it was appreciated or no coffee or bitters offered... so as not to talk about the complete lack of empathy that a good restaurateur and his staff cannot help but have..... it was a flop as far as I'm concerned and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone, yet I had been there several other times and it wasn't it was like this😔😔
