I ate some very fresh mussels, a rich and well-cooked mixed grill, some tasty local artichokes and, to finish, some truly exceptional homemade desserts. Everything was excellent, simple and authentic. I would gladly go back!

A simple restaurant run by an older couple who also employs a pizza maker. The restaurant was already full at around 7:30 p.m. (end of April): Here you can meet locals and tourists alike. As a first course we had the mussels, which were very tasty, and as our main course we had the lasagne and the risotto with prawns. We enjoyed both excellently.

Il Pozzo is always open, even in winter, it will be closed for a maximum of one week. The owner Egidio has been there for fifty years, he is now almost a mythological character. The constant presence and reliability of the service are the strong points of this restaurant-pizzeria.

Very local low key and family run restaurant. The pasta and pizza was better than in any of the other restaurants we have tried in town.

Trovare un ristorante aperto in questo periodo a Santa Maria Navarrese è una scommessa. Meno male che Il Pozzo di Egidio apre per tutto l'anno. Siamo quindi andati lì e non ci siamo proprio pentiti. A parte che Egidio è una persona seria che conosco da tanti anni si che si può fare completo affidamento. Abbiamo preso culurgiones ogliastrini , una fregula ai frutti di mare e un fritto misto. Buonissimi i culurgiones e ottima la fregula, cotta al punto giusto e ricca Saporito il fritto misto, fatto con pesce freschissimo. Buono il cheesecake e il caffè caldissimo come piace a me. Avrei voluto salutare Egidio ma era assente per impegni personali. Consigliato sicuramente anche per la velocità e la pulizia.

03/06/2025: The pizza was good, as was the service and the price. The ambiance was more like fast food. Drinks were served in plastic cups, and pizza on cardboard plates. Sustainability is a big deal. Not my thing.
02/06/2025: A nice surprise, excellent pizza, it doesn't matter on which plate they bring it to the table, but bringing the pizza to the mouth was a pleasure for the taste buds, young and kind staff, I'm not from the area, if it happens I'll come here willingly, compliments
