04/08/2025: Time passes slowly at Niala. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and some of the dishes are absolutely delicious!

01/08/2025: The Niala-Ristoro e Tradizioni farmhouse restaurant fully met our expectations! Having discovered it on Instagram, we were initially intimidated by the very expectations created through social media. As with other farmhouses we'd previously tried, they hadn't fully met our expectations (and our personal tastes). With Niala, this wasn't the case; quite the opposite! A great surprise and confirmation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very professional guide who, with great kindness, accompanied us on a trek through the enchanted forest, where he explained many interesting facts about the area. Once we returned, we were greeted by the young shepherd Manuel, who showed us how cheese is made and listened to the Sardinian music played by local musicians. As for the food, which was very good and made with local ingredients, we personally found everything hot and the portions suitable for a couple (with the option of requesting extra portions, as was the case with their delicious coccoi prenas. Furthermore, in our opinion, this type of portion, with the option of "second helpings" upon request, also reduces food waste). Compliments also go to the excellent service, especially the waitress assigned to us, who was truly kind and never made us feel forgotten, as has happened at other agriturismos. Prices were reasonable. What can I say? It was simply a wonderful day, highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!
