Everything was perfect and good. I'd also add that the price was fair. I didn't give it a fifth star because the night we were there, the menu was mostly fish, with only one meat option. Also, they only offer their own homemade liqueurs... which seemed a bit too much. In fact, we didn't like the liqueur we chose.

Very nice place, soft lighting, very pleasant decor. Truly friendly and helpful staff. Very good and unique dishes. I recommend parking at the station, which is very close and free.

A small restaurant with just a few tables, but very welcoming. Service was a bit slow, but otherwise nothing to complain about; all the dishes were very good. Paid parking is available on-site, just outside the historic center walls.

The cuisine is truly excellent; the way they prepare fish all'isolana is superior to the average in Versilia, even in higher-end restaurants. The vegetables that accompany the fish are perfect. The staff has a rare delicacy in a tourist area where, unfortunately, everything is almost industrially produced.

01/01/2026: I had a wonderful time at Papao. The manager and waitress were incredibly kind. We ate and drank well at a truly reasonable price, and I also enjoyed watching my favorite team's game on Sky. I'll be back soon, perhaps to try the famous steak and watch the next game. Thank you! UPDATE: I've been back several times because I can watch the game and eat well. Always an excellent experience. I stand by my review after five years, adding that the steak is excellent, but all the food is delicious and more than fair in price!
03/11/2025: I went for dinner with my daughter. We had a pizza with buffalo mozzarella, which was simply delicious and incredibly flavorful. Afterwards, we had the beef tagliata... extraordinary, incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. I thank Mr. Enzo for his extraordinary kindness and the helpfulness of the staff, all very friendly. Highly recommended, with plenty of parking. Very affordable prices. I will definitely be back. 👋👋

25/12/2025: The Hotel Ristorante Il Grappolo d'Oro is a welcoming establishment that combines hospitality and fine dining. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and simply furnished, perfect for a relaxing stay. The restaurant, however, is the real highlight: well-prepared traditional dishes, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The local specialties are a must-try, accompanied by a good selection of wines. The staff is courteous and helpful, always ready to accommodate guests' needs. Excellent value. Recommended!
