5 ★ — A Perfect Highway Stop We were traveling from Livorno ( Corsica ) to Bovec and stopped at Ristorante Il Portico—pure joy from start to finish. Fresh porcini pasta, delicious fish, and sublime desserts set in a lovely garden terrace. The staff went above and beyond: offered water for our dog and made us feel at home. Everything was top notch—food, service, ambiance—10/10. Highly recommend to any traveler needing fast, authentic, delicious Tuscan food just off the highway. MARCO - our waiter was TOP CLASS! Thank you, we will be back.

Excellent restaurant with friendly service but a little too insistent and “enveloping”… From what I can say I ate well with prices appropriate to the quality (high) but certainly not at reasonable prices.

Non è la prima volta che frequento questo ristorante dove la prenotazione è vivamente consigliata. La qualità delle pietanze è molto alta soprattutto del pesce servito. Il servizio è molto attento e se ci si lascia guidare nella scelta dei piatti il risultato è garantito. Prezzi medio alti ma la qualità è giusto pagarla.

06/07/2025: That's what I call Italy... Both the approach and the restaurant are a bit hidden, but it's worth it!!!... it's a bit like a large Italian dining room... bustling and loud, the TV is on. No English, no German, just Italian 👌🏼 The food was truly delicious, and everyone can find something to their liking here. And the prices invite you to enjoy yourself. The owners are friendly, so give it a try!
23/06/2025: I had a pizza during my lunch break. The pizza was nothing special but I can say that I have eaten much worse. Friendly atmosphere and kind staff. I feel like going back in the evening to calmly enjoy some dishes that were on the menu but that I did not take because I was in a hurry to get back to work.
