We found this place by chance on the internet given the good reviews, as we were here in Mondavio passing through. It was an unexpected surprise. We were lucky enough to have the chef recommend various typical alternatives and I must say all the dishes amazed us, dishes with quality raw materials and most of the neighboring places. Piadina with omelette and amazing truffle. The Bolagna cutlet was the most tender I have ever eaten with very crunchy breading on the outside, unique! Everyone is kind and the owners are friendly and approachable. Very honest value for money for those who know it! Compliments

Just finished a sumptuous lunch here: beautifully located in a floral garden beneath an enormous locust tree and singing blackbirds with a lovely view that reached the sea in the distance. Wonderful dishes that tasted divine. 5 stars from us all. Especially myself, being the only gluten intolerant/vegan. No problem for the amazing chef, whom we were told by his lovely wife ran a vegan restaurant in Amsterdam previously. Cuisine was sympathetic to seasonal produce, made with love, full flavour yet simple and ‘clean’. I had fiore di zucche fried in a light rice flour batter on a bed of aubergine cream finished with wild herbs, followed by gnocchi di patate in crema di zucchine topped with mint and mixed seeds. All vegan and gluten free. Although this is a traditional trattoria so everyone would be happy here. The service was super friendly, kind and prompt. Highly recommended. Complimenti allo Chef! Ate here on the recommendation of several people. What a wonderful place. Beautiful view and fantastic food! The teramisu is highly recommended.

We enjoyed very much our dinner here. The service is very friendly and patient on explaining you the available dishes in English (the menu is only in Italian). The food was delicious, the grilled peaches with burratta as a started were just wonderful and also all the main courses we have ordered were excellent. Unfortunately the weather was not good and we could not sit outside, in the lovely terrace overlooking the town and the surrounding beautiful landscape. Highly recommended!

First time at this lovely restaurant in Mondavio. The location in a beautiful garden, hence the name, also allows you to eat outside with a beautiful view of the valley. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to stay outside. Friendly staff. Small but welcoming internal rooms, not suitable for large groups. Good quality. Attractive menu with special dishes. Some fusion. The starters chosen were very good. Professional service. Average prices.

Exceptional quality of ingredients, preparation and service!

Best food we've had on our whole trip. The grilled peaches with stracciatella, gnocchi with mint, and passion fruit tart were 10/10.

In the most beautiful setting under a tree looking over the hillside, delicious food that is clearly made with love. Service was excellent, spoke English so menu was fully explained to us.

Food was absolutely amazing with a great mix of meat, veggie and vegan. Chef was lovely and talked us through the menu and the staff were lovely and helpful.
