Beautiful, intimate, and relaxing location. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive to their guests' tastes. The food and wine were excellent; I'd definitely go back! Congratulations!

Lovely restaurant right outside of the main area of Montepulciano. The owner and his wife provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food. As vegetarians we tried La Ribollita soup and the Cappellacci, both of which were delightful. Recommend this spot if you’re in the area looking for some good food.

Tastefully decorated and with a relaxing atmosphere. The owners are very helpful, polite, and kind. The menu is varied and carefully selected for its quality. The tongs' ingredient combinations are unique. The restaurant is accessible to all. Convenient parking is available. The bathrooms are clean and accessible, even for those with disabilities.

Amazing!!! Beautiful views of Montepulciano, The food and service was incredible, had the mixed charcuterie, Pici with Tuscan ragù , and tasty pinsa, All Incredible. Comparing to very nice restaurants in Rome, Amalfi and Florence, Il Covo Osteria di Montepulciano is a photo finish with our top restaurants

Rustic atmosphere with a lovely terrace overlooking Montepulciano. The Fassona beef tartare and gnudi are excellent, and the pinsa are uniquely paired with unique ingredients. Adequate portions and reasonable prices.

Great restaurant for an intimate moment. Quiet, with traditional Tuscan cuisine and good wines. The old-fashioned one is also extraordinary. The service is very friendly. Great restaurant.

Muy bien decorado y esbelto g nuevo y antiguo. Excelente servicio de Max y las vistas desde la terraza son excelentes, buenas opciones de menú y la comida es fresca y muy sabrosa. La selección de vinos es excelente. Excelente relación calidad-precio y muy recomendable

26/10/2025: A very nice, comfortable place. I ate pasta and tried a piece of meat that was the best I've ever had. It's really worth it, the only thing I found was the music too loud.
25/10/2025: What can I say? A refined and elegant atmosphere, a location unlike any other restaurant, with an excellent and unusual menu featuring new and original dishes not found in Chianti restaurants. Everything is freshly prepared and homemade, from the amazing bread to the desserts. Prices are average, and the quality is superb.

La Compagnia dei Vinattieri

06/11/2025: It was during a visit to the city of Siena that we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while strolling early one morning through the narrow streets outside the center. We ate on the terrace (in my opinion, it's much better than inside because it's very dark) and enjoyed a good meal accompanied by a good bottle of wine. However, while the quality is evident on the plate, the quantities are not sufficient for the price paid. The spaghetti alle vongole dish was good, but the quantity was absolutely paltry; two forks and the plate was gone. The service was a little confusing because there were new waiters who weren't yet familiar with the menu. I wouldn't give it more than a 3.
02/11/2025: I highly recommend it, the atmosphere is elegant, the service is excellent, the wine list is wide, the food is delicious, and the prices are fair!
