Lovely restaurant right outside of the main area of Montepulciano. The owner and his wife provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food. As vegetarians we tried La Ribollita soup and the Cappellacci, both of which were delightful. Recommend this spot if you’re in the area looking for some good food.

Tastefully decorated and with a relaxing atmosphere. The owners are very helpful, polite, and kind. The menu is varied and carefully selected for its quality. The tongs' ingredient combinations are unique. The restaurant is accessible to all. Convenient parking is available. The bathrooms are clean and accessible, even for those with disabilities.

Amazing!!! Beautiful views of Montepulciano, The food and service was incredible, had the mixed charcuterie, Pici with Tuscan ragù , and tasty pinsa, All Incredible. Comparing to very nice restaurants in Rome, Amalfi and Florence, Il Covo Osteria di Montepulciano is a photo finish with our top restaurants

Rustic atmosphere with a lovely terrace overlooking Montepulciano. The Fassona beef tartare and gnudi are excellent, and the pinsa are uniquely paired with unique ingredients.
Adequate portions and reasonable prices.

Great restaurant for an intimate moment. Quiet, with traditional Tuscan cuisine and good wines. The old-fashioned one is also extraordinary. The service is very friendly. Great restaurant.
