Ristorante Il Covo In Montepulciano

Stayed in this area for 5 days and came here for the second time. I drank the best nobile red wine here. The vinegar and olive oil are of good quality. Although the meal bag is not amazing, it is very fragrant, soft and crispy, and delicious. To be honest, this restaurant is far better than many 4.7-rated restaurants in the ancient town. The Nobile Farm Restaurant a few minutes away is comparable to this place in terms of taste. The ambience and service were a little off, but I care more about the quality of the food and drinks. I don’t know why this restaurant has a lower rating, but I really recommend it! If an Italian restaurant is bad at meal kits, vinegar, olive oil and red wine, then basically there’s no need to expect much else, right?

In the heart of Montepulciano, an excellence of Tuscan cuisine. The gnocchi with nana ragù are extraordinary, the pici with Tuscan ragù impeccable. The cheek, very tender, is a dish not to be missed. Attentive service, refined atmosphere. Absolutely recommended.

Incredible atmosphere. The place is so well decorated with a great selection of wines of all prices. The owner is very friendly and welcoming even ti tourists. Lots of locals dining too. Food was priced very fairly and of some of the best quality in the area. Would recommend 100%. Easy parking.

The food is of good quality and the place looks very good, however at dinner the atmosphere is cold to say the least! And I'm talking about the temperature... the stage falls... It took me the whole evening at the hotel to warm up....

Sunday lunch as a couple, express stop. With parking, cozy atmosphere, clean bathrooms and wonderful service from Max. The bruschete antipasto was very delicious to share and two pasta dishes: pici al ragù toscano and cappellacci with lemon (shared), both delicious! With rosso wine recommended by Max, very good too. We will surely return!

We had a wonderful evening. The restaurant offers a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere with very kind staff. The dishes were delicious, I particularly recommend the pici with ragù, but the rest was also excellent. The location is strategic and also offers convenient parking. Super recommended ❤️
