ristorante il Carretto In Cefalù

29/12/2024: I spent 4 days in Palermo after Christmas, and I went to eat at this excellent restaurant twice. I tried both appetizers and fish-based first and second courses, all of a notable standard. I recommend for those who want the top. I must also say excellent value for money.

25/11/2024: A place in the center located in the internal courtyard of a historic building, and we found it extremely quiet, private and pleasant. The service was friendly, helpful and prepared. The bread, focaccias and breadsticks served with anchovy and lemon butter are truly pleasant. Followed by a small entrée with a fresh and pleasant flavour. As appetizers, the beef carpaccio with a remarkable plating and perfectly balanced flavors; simple but delicious battered cauliflowers. As first courses, I found the plin with porcini mushrooms to have a delicate flavor that perfectly contrasted with the parmesan fondue; scampi tagliatelle with mulberry cream, also impeccable presentation, but for my personal taste, it was a good dish with a pinch of sweetness more than I could expect from a first course. The dinner ended with a tiramisu which I found exceptional. Highly recommended, I will return
