Great place. A pleasant feeling from the moment you enter the parking lot, right in the middle of a fantastic park. The place is beautiful and lives up to its name, with quick, efficient service and excellent seafood dishes. Even the raw fish is exceptional.

Probably a cult venue in the past for weddings, but today it has a sense of decadence: the grounds, in particular, are neglected, with broken chairs and a ruined pool at the bottom (not a pretty sight). The service is very attentive, but the food is average, especially the aperitif buffet, which was rather disappointing.

27/12/2025: We stopped for lunch at Borgo Antico during a stop in Villetta Barrea, and it was a wonderful discovery. The cuisine is truly excellent, with generous and flavorful dishes that showcase local products. The appetizers, in particular, are a must-try. A rich and carefully selected selection is worth a stop here alone. The atmosphere is warm, familiar, and welcoming, the restaurant is quaint, and the staff are friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're passing through Villetta Barrea, stopping for lunch at Borgo Antico is a must: you'll leave feeling full and satisfied, eager to return soon!

La Nuova Fattoria

27/12/2025: The set menu was excellent and had a wide selection. Everything was delicious, with generous portions. To top it off, one of the best tiramisu I've ever had.
09/12/2025: I went to a restaurant, not a hotel. The restaurant was excellent, the service impeccable, and the food was truly delicious. Yesterday I had the pappardelle with venison ragù, and it was excellent. The wild boar was also excellent, as were the other dishes served by my companions.
