The restaurant thrives on its view, but the food and service are anything but impressive and not worth the money.

At 5:00 PM, we stopped at the Granduca for an aperitif before the concert at the Greek Theater. A Spritz served with warm focaccia and cheeses, all accompanied by a magnificent view of the bay. A very convenient location, just minutes from the theater.

For the baptism, we booked the Granduca di Taormina's private and quiet dining room, perfect for a family event. The staff was courteous and attentive, even to the little ones. The menu was varied and could accommodate all requests, from traditional dishes to pizza.

An evening with friends at the Granduca pizzeria. We enjoyed the variety of the menu, with traditional pizzas and some more unique ones. I had the Sapori di Sicilia, while others had the Agrodolce and the Campana. It was lovely to eat together while gazing at the sea view.

Wine lovers visiting Taormina? Il Granduca is perfect. We chose three glasses for a mini tasting: a Sicilian white, a local red, and a more famous Italian wine. The staff suggested pairings, and the terrace with a view made everything special.

I discovered this place by chance while wandering around Taormina. It's a truly elegant place, with a breezy terrace overlooking the bay of Giardini Naxos. The pizza I ordered was very good, and the prosciutto and melon appetizer was also very good. Highly recommended, even if you're alone.

We went to the Granduca to celebrate an anniversary. We ordered the specials of the day: gnocchi with pistachio pesto and shrimp, and grilled tuna with a side of vegetables. The dinner was pleasant and the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion. The price was reasonable for the location.

A very elegant atmosphere, nestled in the heart of Taormina, we sat at the table admiring the sea of ​​Taormina and the clearly visible ancient theater where De Gregori was performing. We had a wonderful time: the pizza was truly delicious, with a truly crunchy crust and was easily digestible, so well-made that we weren't thirsty all night. The prices were reasonable despite the location and the view offering so much. The staff was truly exquisite and attentive. We especially wanted to thank Nicoletta, who was so attentive and precise in meeting the customer's needs, and Salà, who seated us at a superb table with a touch of humor and an infectious smile. We found it by chance while strolling through the streets of Taormina and entered through the sign with pictures of the sea-view terrace. The staff is very friendly. The food is good. They have a wood-fired oven, and the pizza was spectacular. The restaurant has an indoor dining room and one with a beautiful sea view. Obviously, we wanted a table with a view, but despite two or three tables becoming available, they wouldn't change our table. So we had a view of the Asian tourists and their guide who were moving from one table to another.
