Ristorante Granduca In Taormina

I've been there for dinner several times, and the service was excellent. The service is very good. I want to highlight the waiter, Axel, and the tall, bearded young man who took our order. The atmosphere is remarkable, with a view of the sea, Capo Taormina. I was lucky enough to see an incredible red moon the first time I went. Excellent place for a variety of occasions, from a date to a family dinner or a private event.

We arrived a little early to eat pizza on the Granduca terrace, but the pizzeria wasn't open yet. Despite this, the staff was incredibly welcoming: they sat us down anyway and offered us a glass of prosecco while we waited, telling us to enjoy the view. And what a view! The sunset over the bay of Taormina is truly magical. The kindness and courtesy of the entire staff made the evening even more enjoyable. And the pizza? Truly delicious, with a light dough and quality ingredients.

Me and my fiance ate at this restaurant to round off the final day of our holiday to Sicily. To start I ordered mussels and my fiance ordered a lasagne-like dish. Both of which were a good start to the meal. For our mains we ordered the steak and also a swordfish dish. The swordfish was light and had a lot of flavour. The steak however was a bit of a let down. We ordered it medium rare and it came well done. We overheard another table making the same observation so maybe the chef always cooks the steak this way. The steak also came with some vegetables which didn’t pair well at all with the steak. It felt like the same vegetables from the swordfish dish were lifted and shifted onto the steak dish. For desert we had the profiteroles, which were solid. Overall, the experience was good. I wouldn’t consider this restaurant the best we went to in Sicily but it was the more expensive. I would recommend others come to the restaurant to experience a flavour of fine dining in Sicily.

We went to the terrace-pizzeria. The pizza is excellent, but the waiters' attention is particularly noteworthy: the tall guy who takes the order and the guy at the bar, always ready to help with any needs!

A very positive experience, impeccable service, especially from the waitress Nicoletta. Very kind staff: they offered liqueurs and sorbets.

VIP location with breathtaking sea view, excellent and impeccable service, excellent value for money. Highly recommended for those who want an excellent pizza without spending too much.
