Unfortunately, a negative experience due to the approximate service with apprentice waiters (most likely), who forgot the orders and often "tried" to bring us unsolicited pizzas and appetizers.
Mediocre pizzas, on top of that, starters of chips reduced to the bone, there was more dish than starter.
It's a shame because they told me very well about it but, apparently, it was perhaps not the right time...

Great place and that's why it gives 3 stars. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired, i.e. waiting 30 minutes just to approach the table. As for the pizza, it's very delicious and I give it 5 stars, despite everything I recommend this place

One of Taromina's best restaurants or maybe the best. Very good food, recommend the swordfish. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Taromina, Piazza IX Aprile. It is clean and the place is new with a kind of old-fashioned style. The service is perfect and the staff are nice and helpful. Definitely a must try if you are in Taromina.

Walked in for lunch without a reservation but likely they could sit us in the covered terrace with a beautiful sea view. Enjoyed the Minestrone soup, a version of chickpea soup. The salmon pizza with truffle mushroom cream and salmon is also very delicious. Note: €4 pp "coperto" table charge added to the bill

I have known the place for more than thirty years, I frequented it often and I celebrated my wedding in 1997 at the Giara. I have no longer lived in Sicily for many years but once or twice a year when I find myself in Taormina I gladly make a quick detour.
The management, the service, the quality are always excellent. Congratulations to Pippo and Ettore always at the top.
